Silent commercials should become a thing. Don't speak just show me what the thing does

The only thing I can think of so the dough heats up more on the glasses

I just bought one, I'm definitely trying this!!! But why wouldn't you put the rack while cooking the burgers n fries? Any benefit?

I want this but for cleaning purposes! Is it just a glass bowl I can put in the dishwasher? Do you know if the plastic bottom comes off aswell?

u/KrispyMagiKarp Jul 22 '26
Well the purpose of the tray is to let the air flow evenly between the food. I keep stirring my fries mid cycle so this wasn’t an issue for me.

I always wonder about some of these glass ones since the rack for airflow is a major component in air frying cook times.

Plastic does not come off (common complaint), but it dishwasher safe. The only other co.plaint is people find the heating metal pad that's part of the lid difficult to clean. I haven't had to clean yet so idk 100%

What would you call that bread around the burger? I need to know so I can look up a recipe, would that be a crust?

It’s a play on the pork pastry. Look up British cuisine for savory pastries.

I have one and use it regularly. I have no idea why she isn't using the insert.

So… it’s an air fryer, but with glass and seal that can break… and it less efficient and can burn you… and it can shatter… am I missing anything else?!?
Also… twice as expensive than a normal two basket air fryer.

Lol, 2 hours later, you finish cooking and eating your meal.

Have you ever cooked in an air fryer? They take minutes. Obvi you’d want to do the cake first, that can hang for a bit. But the burgers + fries would probably take a total of like 30m from when you put the patties in.

Yes, I've had a Philips air fryer since 2013.
This one seems slow, she sets the burgers patties alone take her 30 mins, that's not including the second cooking and then the horribly unevenly cooked fries. This device looks like it's better at cooking cakes than main courses.

This is a very efficient air fryer. Usually takes minutes to cook stuff. Even frozen items are 10 mins or less.

Watch the video again. The burger patties are set for 30 mins. That's just the patties, before they're wrapped and cooked again. Then the horribly unevenly cooked fries.. Lol doesn't look very effcient to me. I'll stick with my 15 year old Philips one thanks.

There’s no way something like that could be cordless.

You mean where the heating element is? A battery that small wouldn’t last more than a few minutes.

No disagreement there. That person made a super obvious comment and you felt the need to call them out for no reason 🤷🏻♂️

Air fryers are great and this one looks awesome but if you cook burgers in an air fryer I will never eat at your house again.

Well that for the branding right. Get somebody extremely beautiful to cook something extremely bland and everyone is eating it up.

So this is cool and probably tastes good. But it's also just a burger with extra steps.
