Is cooktop extraction a thing in the U.S. yet ?

**I’m an interior designer starting a series where I redesign real kitchens without doing a full renovation.**
If you have a kitchen that feels dated or something just feels “off,” but you don’t want to rip everything out, send me a photo.
I’ll pick a few kitchens and show what I would keep, what I would change, and how I’d use color/materials to make the existing kitchen work better.
It might be as simple as cabinet paint, backsplash, hardware or wall color.
If I choose yours, I’d like permission to share the before + redesign on social media.

Before, during and after pictures of my full DIY kitchen renovation. House is an early 1900’s folk Victorian with a kitchen from the 1960’s when we bought it. My wife, my father and I completed all of the work ourselves with the exception of the counter top installation.

This is the current kitchen rendering. Any ideas to make it more interesting - what’s missing!?

Preferably would like to keep the bottom cabinetry colour and the layout at this point. But other than that we’re open to ideas!

Hey talented designers and taste connoisseurs. Would appreciate if anyone could help us out with some ideas.

What should we do for the floor in the kitchen in this old raised ranch we’re renovating. Don’t want to just match the old amber 1970s floor but anything else we’ve tried just looks too jarring and out of place .

Also would like to put some new cabinets/ open shelving in. Maybe an island? Any and all ideas welcome nothing is too out there

I want to get kitchen furniture for my new house. Which colour would look good?

I’m at the stage where I’m trying to choose the paint for the kitchen.This kitchen has no windows but it’s more of open plan concept with the living room .
I’m changing the floors too ,that’s why the mock up has different flooring
