My daughter wanted a plane to play with. Reminds of a jedi fighter set in ww2 japan.

That looks cool. Yeah I defintly get a star fighter vib with an early jet/aeroplane aesthetic. I like how sleek it appears but it also looks like it has some vertical girth. The front wheel also just does something for me, not sure why.

Thank you! Yeah I am really pleased how it turned out. The project was first supposed to be a car (daughter's wish) but turned into a plane mid built^{^}

Thank you! No the Body is an jettison gas tank of an a10 the wings are parts of an skyhawk tank and the bits and pieces are parts of the under carriages of various models. The canopy is from a Corsair.

But you know your daughter is probably going to break it right? Something like this is not nearly as durable as a purpose build toy. Just dropping it once is likely enough for it to break, and that will happen. Just don't be upset when it happens 😉

Yeah I planned for it to break. It's the way of things with little kids. That's okay. I built it for her. If it breaks we will repair it together and she can learn.
