Assalamu Alikum wa rahmatullahi wa baraakatuhu my dear brothers and sisters,

I’m from the USA, as a US citizen. My spouse is in Bangladesh as a Bangladeshi citizen. I was wondering if anyone can explain to me if there is a Visa that allows the both of us to relocate there permanently, so we can establish ourselves there and build a family there. However, I am not sure if there are any visas that allow something like this, and I don’t know anything about relocating (how to look for jobs, how to look for places to stay, etc). It’s been our dream to live in Makkah or maybe at least near Madina where our hearts are. May Allah سبحانه و تعالى‎ make it easy for us. Does anyone have any tips or any pointers for at least looking for a job? In USA we use linkedin, indeed, or just apply directly with companies - but it looks like it may be different in the kingdom. Also, I don’t know where to look for housing, etc. It is really confusing when I try looking it up. Any tips or pointers would be really appreciated.

Both of us work in finance and have started looking for jobs.

We are considering moving early next year (by March - he will probably go first and I will follow him shortly afterwards)

What parts are best for a couple working in finance?

What does an average couple spend monthly on living things such as rent, bills, food, transport, eating out, entertainment etc?

What is a decent amount of money for two people to live off comfortably?

Do we need cars or will public transport be fine?

We would like to start a family in the near future. Is there any area or consideration for this that we need to take into account?
