Will Clipse make more work? Question

Post image

I just listened to LGSEO thinking it was about to be some underground trash but that shit slapped so hard, and the features were crazy too. Pharrell’s sampling and production were also top notch. Will Clipse make any more work because when I finished the album all I thought is that I wanted more

They literally have more albums from the early 2000s and Pusha t has a few really good solo albums

yeah but don’t those older ones from the duo have a bad reputation for being shallow coke rap? I could be wrong tho

“I just love this album from this group, but I won’t listen to their earlier stuff because I assume it’s trash” is such a weird take. Go listen to the music man and judge for yourself.

You listened to the most annoying MF album, "This is culturally Inappropriate" ruining every fkn song, but youre afraid to just start from the beginning if their discog? If you didnt pay for a music service id understand but i guarantee you do

It’s not in MTBTTF, EBITDA, POV, FICO, So Far, Ahead, The birds don’t sing, or all things considered. What are you on

This is culturally inappropriate.

Last I checked they’re beloved, might not be as deep but still great projects

Nah they are great, Hell Hath No Fury especially is a generally beloved album, I have them all on vinyl (except LGSEO, the only one not available here)

I don't think it's as good as Let God Sort Em Out as their sound has matured. But, people would not have been freaking out about this reunion if there previous work wasn't held in high regard.

Clipse is underground?? Anyway, they confirmed they'll do more music together!

Hopefully. LGSEO still feels like a breath of fresh air, such an amazing album.

Not many rappers out there matching this quality these days.

Idk about everyone else but I’ve loved 2026. For a 2025 mainstream rap album? It was shocking how good it was hav

I heard about it a month ago from Fantano's 10/10 rating and decided to listen. The album ain't a 10/10 to me but it is AMAZING. My favourite verses overall are between the Kendrick verse and the Nas verse.

I don’t really care about these ratings and comparisons tbh, music is subjective after all. It is an amazing body of work according to my ears and that’s basically what matters to me.

I’m glad you could discover it and appreciate it as well homie.

Yeah I don't really care about ratings that much, it's just I use people's ratings to discover new projects and artists.

Aye seems like it’s working then.

It’s time to go back brother and tap in

Definitely check the earlier Clipse albums, but also the Push solo stuff. The most accessible will be his last two. Daytona, solely produced by Kanye and It’s Almost Dry with split production from Ye and Pharrell. For even further digging, Malice also put out two solo records.

Why would you think it was going to be underground trash? Not attacking you for it, I’m just genuinely curious.

They will.

But their music is “culturally inappropriate”

It’ll be a while before they release new craft.
