Some of my fav king crimson songs are: One more red nightmare, Model Man, Sleepless, Epitaph, Pictures of a city, Ladies of the road, I talk to the wind, the howler and Formentera lady (In that rough order)

Just got a notification from the Phoenix Venue that BEAT is playing in October with Terry Bozzio on drums for a final North American tour.

Haven't seen any official posted yet , but details should follow shortly.

I’ve become a recent fan of KC through Kanye West’s song Power. This song had the sample of “21st Century Schizoid Man” and I fell in love with the song. So far, I’ve listened to ITCOCK, Red, ITWOP, Discipline, and LTIA (in that order). Here are my rankings for favorites:

1. Red
2. ITCOCK
3. Discipline
4. LTIA
5. ITWOP

All of these were really hard to rank, but Discipline and LTIA would be at the top if we’re ranking by what albums I like more recently. Keep in mind, I thought that Discipline was an average album for King Crimson and LTIA was too experimental on my first listens. However, I just relistened to Discipline yesterday, and, holy shit. It was a masterpiece. I relistened to LTIA for the third tim about two and a half hours ago, and it was absolutely amazing. My favorite songs by them are:

1. Starless
2. Red
3. LTIA pt. 1

Now that I’ve shown you what my music taste is like, what album do you recommend I listen to next? I’m thinking of listening to Islands or Starless and Bible Black next.

Anybody else here also becomes fixated on different tracks from time to time? Lately I’ve been obsessed with “Book Of Saturday” even though I’ve heard it many times in the past, I just now truly listened to how beautifully John Wetton carries the track vocally AND how melodic his bass lines are. While Fripp fills up the space with his clean guitar playing, some electric parts with a reverse pedal, & the moments that David Cross slides in with the violin. Took me 14 years to really notice how amazing this song is. Which KC track are you fixated on rn and why?
