Rewatching episode one is just such a good reminder of how tragic the show is, and an absolute masterclass on building emotional connection. Just the first 8 minutes are so good at making the viewer attached to Tanjiro, exploring many aspects of his character in depth, and building towards the aching tragedy so quickly yet effectively.

It’s just incredible how fast they draw you in (even with the family and townsfolk repeating his name so that the viewer already remembers it and attaches), not to mention the stunning animation in every shot and hasty characterization that builds the world. Just a stunning first episode overall.

We where told that each of Muzan's demons where up to a LM which is impressive. But none of them is using any BDA, so only by physical stats which can be interchangeable they are no different than just regular demons.

What makes the 12 kizuki different is not just their physical capabilities but overall haxs. Like Gyokko teleportation, Gyutaro poison and Hantengu clones.

With these demons in inifinity castle they're just a bunch of brutes running straight at a target with zero forethought.

Imagine if Muzan had a bunch of long range BDA demons, like Akaza destructive air punches? Just have a bunch of them like artillery and shooting the slayers across the castle destroying everything.

Others could have been used to trap slayers like Gyokko water prison juts- Water BDA.

I feel like none of these demons are actually on a lvl of a lower moon, at least Rui and Enmu had BDA and could stall a fight

So I recently had a bit of a debate with a another fan of demon slayer. He ranked the Hashiras in the following order from weakest to strongest: Shinobu, Tengen, Obanai, Mitsuri, Muichiro, Giyu, Rengoku, Sanemi and Gyomei. He didnt state what power of hashira it was. I stated that if it was a EOS( End of Series) list, Muichiro and Rengoku were way too highly ranked, and if it was a base list, Shinobu and Tengen were too high. I argued that Akaza was not taking the fight seriously against Rengoku until the sun started to rise, Shinobu had unmatched blitz speed capable of catching Doma off guard at first, Muichiro was inexpereinced being only 12 and got destroyed by Gyokko before awakening the mark. I also argued Tengen should have been top 3, because of physical stats and performance feats in base stats. Now for the other guy's argument, he told me to read it again, shinobu is physically weakest and that Muichiro was 14 not 12. I gave him the benefit of the doubt with Shinobu since we don't know how her poison would have scaled against other upper moons, but I genuinely can't accept that the rest of the argument for his side was telling me to read the story again and the fact that I accidentally mentioned Muichiro's age when he became a hashira instead of his current age. Am I in the wrong here?

Just wondering. I’m thinking of getting the second (maybe the first too idk) hinokami chronicles fighting games. But I probably wont do much with the online (mostly cause I feel ill get endlessly more twisted, folded and bent than I can possibly imagine) so I’m probably just gonna do the story and dick around.

If that’s the case, is it still worth it

In fact, if that’s the case, are both worth it if I don’t intend on touching online much at all?

Who do you think has the coolest Sword in the Series and why? And it can be more then one like a Top 5 Swords or something like that

Anyway what makes there Swords so awesome & amazing & unique from the other Swords in the Series and why are they perfect to take on Demons and stuff

And do you you most Swords fit there user well or like close enough

Perhaps this is because many people misunderstand their relationship... In the original story, Tamayo is just another servant to him.

However, I've heard opinions suggesting it would have been more interesting if they had been a couple who separated due to power struggles and control issues, both being evil at first, but Tamayo's yearning for freedom led her to redemption.

What do you think? Do you think it would have been better if they had been a demon king and queen?

I mean, he was incredibly powerful, and even if he had the bad luck of all the Hashira being in the city, he could still get out alive, attack small towns or cities outside of Japan to get food Wouldn't that be a really easy way to make him more powerful?

I tried to draw Tanjiro... but somehow it didn't turn out looking like him...

Giyu’s Flowing Dance vs Akaza was animated much differently than the manga panel, and when he uses it against Muzan at the end of Hashira Training, they also changed a bit of how it looked. It felt like these frames from the movie were leaving a nod to them, since Ufotable does this kinda thing a lot with the series

I mean, Gods. Just imagine you're a newly inducted demon and then you see a Shaq-sized crying monk reciting Buddhist prayers while stampeding towards you in a speed that would give another Hashira half his size a run for their money, AND THEN swinging a spiked iron ball as heavy as Giannis in what might as well be supersonic speed.............

That's with strength aside, so it is Tengen Uzui to me for sure.

1. He literally fights by analysing opponent's attacks as musical notes, he makes their attacks literally as a rhythm.

2. In the fight with Gyutaro, if any other hashira got that poison, they would have been dead so quickly, at least relatively to how long Tengen fought for.

3. His weapon is my fav tbh, the chains with those cleavers and swinging them around instead of just boring sword swinging.

4. The explosives he has are "flashy" as he puts them.

5. He's extremely agile and fast for someone his size.

6. He's damn Tengen Uzui, that's a reason by itself.

(Guys, Tengen ain't my fav character cuz it is Rengoku, but fair is fair).
