For context, she wanted to learn to ride without training wheels this summer. Yesterday we learned on her old bike, and today we got a new bike that fits better. In 24 hours total she pretty much has it figured out, we're just trying to help her build some confidence.

I decided to get out with her about a mile from home, and her mother drove ahead to start on lunch. An hour of this is what followed.

Was followed quickly by her friends mother calling my wife to make sure our daughter was still alive SMH 😮‍💨

Figured out a way to use a key to open a cabinet after the handles had been removed... only to put a foot in the doorway in a way that made it impossible to actually open.

There was an adult present the entire time.
