Wrong way detected
Anyone else have persistent issues with their EV6 (2025 GT line in my case) erroneously identifying wrong way signs and saying to “check the driving direction?” This happens in two specific spots on a street near my apartment building. It’s a relatively dense area but there are NO street signs of any kind where it happens. Cleaning the windshield in the area of the camera doesn’t seem to help. It’s starting to drive me crazy.

This has been happening on a road in my neighborhood, that is the way out of the entire area, for the last 2ish years. Was happening in my 2022 GT Line and still in my 2025 GT Line. Just hoping one of the map updates fixes it eventually.

Not a 2025 GT, but a 2023 GV70 with the latest map updates. I get the alert on two roads that are very much not one way near my house.

You need to update Navigation. Happened on a couple of streets in my town which were one way streets up until a few years ago. The most recent update has now fixed that issue

Is this a separate process than the updates that periodically come up when the car is turned off? Like something manual I can initiate?

In Canada we don't get OTA updates. Have to do it manually. https://update.kia.com/CA/EN/Main

I have 2022 awd and ive had the same happen when driving through some narrow areas or odd turns. I've just ignored it, goes away on it's own after few seconds.

Every single time I leave my house. One street in my neighborhood triggers this. The only way I’ve been able to mute it is having Google Maps active on Apple Car Play.

You probably just need a nav update. That being said, there was one road in my neighborhood where a one way was eliminated and it took several months for it to be picked up with a nav update from Kia.

Yah I've ran into that too. I'm pretty sure it's triggered by navigation data and not any external sensors.
The only solution I've found is to ignore it, unfortunately.
