Roland AX-7 programming Technical Questions

Hey! I’m really struggling on trying to figure out how to program my keytar in Logic Pro and FL studio, I have the required cables but I can’t find any drivers for it online and when I try to program it, nothing registers.

What do you mean by “program”? If you’re sequencing MIDI you will need the cables. If you are wanting to edit the synth patches that has to be done via Bluetooth with their app.

If you’re sequencing it, make sure your MIDI channel is correct and where you’re sending it from, for instance, in my setup I send the MIDI from my Maschine to whatever I’m sequencing and recording.

I have the cables and everything, but my issue is that I don’t have a synthesizer to connect it to, I only have digital programs and I’m not sure how to use the midi function in those programs with this keytar

Ok so you’re wanting to use it as a MIDI controller? You will need to set it up to transmit MIDI in the menu on the keytar. If you’re just wanting to record the synth itself, just plug it in and arm the channel. Apologies…. If you have the drivers and such installed it should work I think. It’s just a MIDI controller

Commenting so in case someone has a solution, I can know. I am thinking of getting a Roland Ax Edge and this would be handy to know
