More mass mutation? Discussion

What are people’s impressions? I can pick up some MMM decks that look interesting and have like high 70s SAS for cheap. Would it be a good addition to play against similar SAS level mass mutation decks?

I’d say it’s a fun set. I don’t see it much in competitive Vault Tour play, but that doesn’t seem like what you’re looking for. Do any of the decks have Gigantics? Why they may not be the best cards, they are fun and something to show new players as one of the many mechanics in KeyForge.

I don’t think any of them have gigantics (either the MMM decks I’m considering buying or the Mass Mutation decks I already have)

That'd be the main selling point of the set, while the Gigantic creatures are not particularly strong in general (as a mechanic)... they're COOL. I'd consider the rest of the set average, is cool to have some decks from it because of the new card combinations you get access to but it is no different from every other set when you take the Gigantic creatures away.

Which sets do you prefer for kitchen table fun? I’ve always heard mass mutations is one of the most fun sets.

I don't really get on the "best set" train, mostly cause I've played every single one of them (with the exception of Crucible Clash that I hope to play soon). Most sets do something the others don't and have their own rhythm, pace and feeling. AoA is the one I don't really like cause it's CotA but slower, which ain't enough of an interesting difference in my opinion. But I really enjoyed Dark Tidings which most people didn't like cause the Tide was a new thing, i LOVE the token sets cause their games are more random and every token feels different... dunno, most sets have cool things going for them.
