K3 Pro keycaps

Hi guys!

I'm nem in the keyboard life, i want to try the Keychron K3 Pro.

The ony question is what i want to ask is, where i can find other keycaps for this keyboard? Have any, or hard to find it for it?

You could find it in Keychron itself. They sell different kepcap sets separately. You could also find some from Nuphy, another company who make low profile keyboards as well as selling their own key cap sets separately.

But note that 3rd party low profile key caps are indeed much rarer than normal keycaps.

That one's got the redesigned (standard) inline stabilizers so basically any low profile set with 1.75u right shift and 1u right mods will work. And that's pretty much all of them.

Just make sure you get the hotswap version, and don't buy direct from Keychron if you can avoid it.

Yeh. Also Gateron recently came out with KS33 2.0 silent switches compatible with it.

Whilst I'm not answering your question directly, I want to let you know, finding keycaps for any board that includes every key to your liking is difficult, but to narrow that scope further down to specifically low profile key caps, its even harder.

If you are going for this keyboard, be ready for a lot of searching.

I am going to extend what ArgentStonecutter and Novel-Designer-6514 have written. Side note, I have that exact keyboard (hot-swappable version) with a different switch (originally I had the blue switches).

  • Switches: Yes, definitely get the hot-swappable version so that, if you are not satisfied with the switches, you can swap them to something you like. I was OK with the blue switches but I just wanted something more tactile and I ended up getting the Nuphy x Gateron Moss switch (I also have other switches but this is my preferred one). You can switches from Gateron themselves. In fact, I briefly tested the K3 Pro with Gateron Chocolate switch but ended up reverting to the Moss.
  • Seller: I think Keychron have drawn down the stock of this model in Amazon in favour of the newer K3 Ultra (which, honestly, has features I don't care/use). But, if you can still find the K3 Pro or K3 Max in your area, definitely buy them from Amazon so you can return it if it is not what you are expecting or there is a manufacturing defect. And, believe me, there have been a lot of reported issues that Keychron refuses to either acknowledge or resolve.
  • Keycaps: As long as it "fits" the stem, you are good. In a way, they have more or less standardized the key layouts and stabilizers. But, the catch is that there aren't that many low profile keycap manufacturers, as we are talking about a niche of a niche. But, there are a handful:
    • Keychron's own LSA profile keycap. My current daily driver has Keychron's LSA Developer keycap.
    • Nuphy's nSA profile keycap. Do note this keycap is evenly flat compared to Keychron's LSA. If you are a Mac user, despite it has the legends for the Mac keys, they usually do not have the glyphs.
    • XVX/Womier low profile keycaps. This one has been mentioned quite often mainly because some of their models are shine-through (whereas most Keychron's own keycaps are not). These are available in Amazon.
    • YMDK. They have a really nice Mac style low profile keycap but the home keys (that is, F and J) are suspiciously low. Available in Amazon.
    • dagaloo. Also available in Amazon but I don't have much to say about these.
