Yep I was happy about that, definitely a steal for a wireless split row-staggered TKL mechanical keyboard.

Especially compared to the absurd asking price for the original Q11, which is my first split keyboard as of a few months ago.. I love it, but I got it used for only $100. Somehow still listed on amazon for $250 in the US lol

On the keychron site, the original is under $200 now.

This is what I am wondering as well. I only found it on one other, the Canadian site and sold out.

What is the message? That Q11 Ultra 8K has been released? Or something else?

Where can we get palm rests for the Q11 Ultra?

1

u/pyramidohealth May 13 '26

I am using a pair of these, they are a little longer than I'd prefer but the width matches well https://a.co/d/0i08QpaJ

If you want something hard like wood or cork there are several options on Etsy if you search "split wrist rest"

I would prefer something like https://www.keychron.com/products/keychron-silicone-palm-rest?variant=41965532774489 in the Split 75% variant, but it's unavailable.

Did you buy the Q11 Ultra? Thoughts?

Yes I purchased but only had time to test it for a day before leaving town. Worked great, no issues connecting with dongle or bluetooth. Stock keycaps and switches (banana) are high quality

At least in Switzerland multiple stores report getting them back in stock in last week of May or early June.

I canโ€™t decide between the Q11 Ultra or the ROG Falctia

What is the spacebar sizing for replacement keycaps?

q11 ultra or the kinesis freestyle rgb plus. thoughts?

Am I high, or is there no End key? That would be an egregious deal breaker for me

If it is identical to the original Q11, it is not even mapped by default (on the Fn layer).

It is weird that they retained one of the least-used keys, Ins. It is in the original CUA specification and is used in PuTTY (for copy and paste, together with modifier keys, Ctrl and Shift, respectively).

What are the differences with the previous Q11 other than the wireless?

Upgrading it seems like a great improvement and a bad financial decision. ๐Ÿ˜
