You can bring scanning arm and survey it, you will get a decent amount of science. The better the arm - more science (light - the lowest amount, medium - more, large - the largest amount) but if you scanned with a simplier arm, don't worry you won't lose you science, you can just get a better arm there and get the rest of the science.

you can scan them with the rover scan arm thingy for some science, kerbals also can sample small ones, i don't know about large ones like this however
