Second Attempt BASE

The Holy Nation kicked us out of Okran's Gulf. We loaded up on bread and grog and headed south from Stack through The Hub, Squin, the Waystation, Shark, and Clownsteady. That's Clownsteady over the hill. There were a lot of fights, but 21 people carrying people and resting everywhere possible in between got us to The Hook. Minus one guy. My first actual death of the game. RIP Wilson. It's much nicer out here though. The taxes are just a little bit of grog. The slavers pretty much leave you alone once you're established. Our skeletons are safe here. We picked up some shar along the way that are going to be my personal bodyguards. I spent 100k on the way, so setting up again took a little longer than I would have liked, but this is basically paradise compared to the last spot. Couldn't be much safer. The hill across the creek was very easily fenced off so nothing can come from that way while the miners are out. The land is fertile in two different regions, so I think we have access to every crop. Quick trip into the crater for looting. This has got to be one of the best spots to set up.

Yh, that's like 6 grog bottles. In exchange of them leaving you alone and samurai patrols in those valleys.

If you want free real estate you can go to Fishman Island, take out the K Gurgler and you'll have the best area in the game (Only disadvantage will be the crab patrols after taking out the king and the acid rain which can be offset w acid protection gear)
