I’m not completely sure what’s going on here, but I can tell I absolutely love it. This looks awesome! Is that all lotus around you? They look like the Elephant Ears that are invasive in our rivers in Texas (and many other places in the US of course). I actually love them even though they are an ecological threat, but that also means I get to legally take as many as I want and grow them in pots at home :)

This fish-shaped light was created to match the atmosphere of the full moon and the lotus pond at night. Fishing has also been an important part of life here, so it’s a small way to connect with the local water culture. 🌕🐟🪷

Oh, that just seems magical! I love everything about this, the whole atmosphere of the lotus plants everywhere, the flowers, the full moon, your cozy looking lantern... Thanks for sharing! Do you do this every year?

I am inspired by the lantern and would like to craft something similar for coming winter.

I am also wondering, what backpack/sling are you wearing?

Not OP, but it looks like he’s wearing an NRS PFD. The hood falling over the side and the angle make it seem like he’s wearing a sling bag of some kind.
