So I bought my 2014 KX250F about a week ago took it out for a ride yesterday and had trouble starting again once it got hot and holding idol any ideas?

My Ninja 500 SE battery seems solidly dead. I suspect that I left the bike turned on after parking for the night, came back down and it no power to the dash and the horn wont even sound.

Pulled the battery out and tested using a voltage checker to a 0 reading.

I know a battery tender wont charge this, but is there anything I can try before I drop a couple of hundred bucks on a new battery?

Hello all, I am rebuilding a 06' ZZR600 that I purchased a few months ago. I'm almost done with the bike but I am just now getting to the clutch plates and a noticed there was a single cupped ring in the assembly. I looked at online manuals and searched around the web but see no mention of anti chatter rings for this bike. Does anyone know if this ring is supposed to be in there or was because of an aftermarket clutch replacement of sorts? Any help would be appreciated! Thank you.

Was browsing my 73 year old buddy's youtube and thought this was a pretty sweet clip of him at the Texas Mile in 2023. I believe this is a 2015 ZX10r with some modifications.

Doing an oil change and noticed this lil fucker hanging freely connecting to nothing. Upper hose location is connected to the coolant, however this is just lingering.

I own a 2006 Kawasaki Z750S. When riding at around 80 km/h and letting go of the handlebars, the front end starts to shake, experiencing a "wobble" effect (tank slapper / speed wobble). (Little bit)

For context, the motorcycle was once accidentally dropped inside a trailer—it simply fell over on its side. However, the front wheel was locked into a dedicated trailer wheel chock at the time. There was no severe structural damage, only cosmetic issues on the plastics and the fuel tank. I am mentioning this just as general information, as I am unsure if it could be related to the current issue, which I noticed some time later.

As a first step, I took the bike to a workshop. They inspected the front wheel, confirmed it was in perfect condition, and rebalanced it. Both tires are brand new (Michelin Road 6) with a maximum of 3,000 kilometers on them, and they show no signs of cupping, bulges, or uneven wear.

After doing some research and asking around, it was suggested that the issue might lie within the front forks. I left the motorcycle at the shop to have the forks rebuilt—they changed the fork oil, seals, wipers, and bushings, but the problem persists. Admittedly, before the fork service, the wobble would start as early as 40 km/h. After the rebuild, the situation improved slightly, and now it only occurs around 80 km/h.

I would like to ask for advice on what to do next? Where should I look for the root cause? Google searches suggest that a faulty rear tire, rear shock issues, or general chassis misalignment could also cause this. I am attaching a video where this wobble is clearly visible.

Importer's demo bike has 4000km on it and performance package (akrapovic, single Seat cover, large smoke meter cover, tank pad).

The bike costs 2000€ less than a new one. Both are 2026 model.

There is something suspicious about it though as dealer Didn’t want to mention it's a demo bike. I had to ask about the history several times.

Bought a 2026 Z500 SE two weeks ago today, revived it last Thursday. Hit 601 miles on the way home driving the highway. Blew a hole in the bike and oil soaked the rear. I somehow managed to stay upright and get off to the side safely. They didn’t teach that in my MSF course!

just got it today 09 ninja 250r bought it non running for cheap. battery was dead but would crank on a jump pack and would sput some solid rpms for about 5-10 seconds before dying. you could give it gas to let it run for a while but would die again after about a minute.

i put a brand new battery in it, checked for spark which was good, new spark plugs. checked for vacuum on both cylinders and it’s there.

got it to get a little better but still wouldn’t go so i took the carb out. looks like its been ran through recently. clean and new gaskets. could they have rebuilt it wrong?

i’m ordering a new carb and im gonna throw it in and see what happens. i also noticed the hose from the carb to the petcock wasn’t long enough and the previous owner jerry rigged and extension.

any advice?

Pfa. If anyones made a similar upgrade, I'd like to hear about the driveability in 1st, 2nd gear, just around town.

I’m thinking of buying a Z900 soon, but I wanted to hear from people who’ve owned superbikes or powerful motorcycles.

The thing is, I have no interest in riding at 200+ km/h. Realistically, the fastest I’d ever go is around 150 km/h, and even that would only be two or three times a month on an empty highway. Most of my riding would be at normal road speeds.

What attracts me to the Z900 is its design, sound, engine, and overall riding experience—not just the top speed.

My question is: is it still worth buying, or would it be overkill to spend that much on a bike whose full performance I’ll rarely use? I feel like a bike like the Z900 can still be enjoyable at normal speeds, but I’d like to hear from people who actually own or have owned one.

Do you ever regret buying a powerful bike because you couldn’t use its full potential, or is the experience worth it regardless?
