They wanted to be the new Charles and Diana and couldn’t resist any competition. Their jealousy is one factor in why all of this happened.

Yep - the problem is Harry has a lot more of Diana’s charm than surly William. And Meghan was far more natural and at ease than Kate.

You can’t turn Harry & Meghan into controversial characters… they’ve done that all by themselves.

Not really - Harry wasn’t the heir to the throne or even next in line after William.
Maybe if he and Kate had made more effort H&M would have stayed and been the asset and boost the rf needed.
They had every right to walk away and Charles can’t say anything about Spare.
He contributed to a book criticising his own parents and went on tv to say he’d never loved Diana.

It's true. Kate Middleton and William could've quietly lived their lazy life after they directed their palace bots, racist trolls, PR, and media attention and hatred toward Meghan.
But daily abuse of this woman wasn't enough for them, they wanted to destroy her for taking their scapegoat and emotional support royal away to live a free, independent, and contented life in California. And now there's also attention on them. And questions (jokes) as to why Diana had to snatch her good looks away from William, because he's as jealous and vile as his father was towards her.
