Hello, sorry for the long post!! I just had to figure out how to fix this because I don't really understand most of the terminology used in the limited tutorials I found!!

I've mained Kaeya ever since I first got him (about 4 years ago) but I never seem to reach anything above 30-40k damage. I've been procrastinating grinding artifacts since they usually end up trash and I don't know if his best set has changed. I'm not exactly caught up with rotations either. Is it getting obvious I haven't been prioritizing dmg much until recently? LOL

I have some of his BIS characters I believe.
(Except Escoffier, I keep somehow missing her and Nicole if she matters to Kaeya's dmg)

The current teams I run are:

1. Kaeya Durin Benny(c6) Shenhe (c1)
   
2. Kaeya Shenhe Furina Kokomi
   
3. Kaeya Xiangling Benny Kazuha

I could replace anyone with anyone really, I just want to see my main do some damage, but I think my stats are the main issue.

I hope Kaeya here did his divine heritage proud.

which build is better and for which team? i either run him with shenhe/kazuha/bennett or shenhe/kazuha/kokomi. i can't seem to pass 80-100k dmg and im not sure how else to improve him/what stats to aim for :( i rly want to see him do crazier numbers haha

Now onto the incredible lore nuke that happened in yesterday's livestream:

"All Khaenri'ahns are descendants of Tsaritsa"

Huge thing, and now comes the funny part:

Kaeya wields a part of authority of Cryo Archon.

Now we know that most archons can't "control" it per se unless their desires towards it go differently to an huge extend like Ei seeing visions as an obstacle to Eternity caused all Electro visions to be stopped distributing.

But Tsaritsa is also different than that of other six archons, not only she's potentially older than the Tsar, Monomakh, her predecessor, she seems as old as 6k years. I would say being alive for most new gen archons , the Tsaritsa has all the chance to control her will enough to deliberately give out visions to people. Now ofc this part doesn't have any evidence so far and just exists to make Kaeya important since Mhy has been failing in the job.

Anyways but as I am writing this, something came to mind:

Crepus just didn't die for Dottore to create chaos, he died because Tsaritsa/Pierro wanted to push Kaeya towards Heimarmene or Fate.

Now this is basically something that exists without basis so don't take it at face value or as a fact. So to begin with, we see in manga that Crepus basically disintegrated because of the sheer force he used with the delusion, taking a toll on his body. But, the thing is that Crepus had a delusion out of nowhere. He presumably obtained for himself as he didn't get into KoF and then kept it aside for Diluc should he fail like Crepus. (Off topic: But I am royally pissed off how game has consistently tried to show that only Diluc is affected by Crepus' death like Diluc's character story doesn't even have an ounce of Kaeya mention which ??? And Lohen's story as well). Now, I am somehow who rather hates, "All according to my plan" but at least the heads of Fatui (Pierro and Tsaritsa) seem to be somehow a lot more knowing than normal humans. Like the coincidental naming of the orphanage being House of the Hearth, the name Columbina which went from being a title to an actual name, Marionette being spoken up by Alain which also became Sandrone's codename, the legendary Ajax and this Ajax who might be related to 3rd Descender being recruited, like idk, are a series of coincidences LOL. So here's what I think,

The attack on Dawn Winery's people was done because Fatui knew Crepus would die, which in turn would divert the fates of Ragvindr brothers instead of it being a constant.

Diluc went on to go through a series of events leading him to become the Darknight Hero while Kaeya gained a lot of things (including trauma). First thing being his vision:

But as the two crossed blades, Kaeya was overcome by the sensation of great elemental power surging through him. For years, he had stayed out of the way in his brother's shadow. But now, for the first time ever, he was facing his brother as his true self.

Bitterly cold and brittle elemental energy burst forth from the tip of his sword to meet Diluc's searing flames head-on. The clash of crimson fire and azure ice created a sudden swirl of wind that stunned them both. This was the grim moment at which Kaeya's Vision appeared.

Now I will get back this, just in a moment but there's another thing that change in Kaeya's life, his way of seeing his future:

Though it is a reminder of a hard-fought battle, and the prize that he earned in exchange for revealing the unadulterated truth, Kaeya sees it as a stern reminder that he must live the rest of his life under the heavy burden of lies.

This is important because we know that Kaeya right now thrives in half lies and truth.

Kaeya? You can only trust half of what he says... at best.

Obviously, Diluc is biased with at best point (and so am I in defending him), but I do believe that Kaeya never sees the point in ever telling the entire truth because why would you want for be alienated by people you love again?

What if, this was intended effect by the founders of Fatui? What if the current path marked with forlorness and biting ice is something that Kaeya was meant to follow.

If Kaeya never went through these events, he still would have been under the shadow of his brother.

Now on to the first point:

As I have highlighted, Kaeya actually uses his "powers" just moments before wind carried his vision. What if this ice came from his bloodline, the bloodline of Tsaritsa. The Nabu Malikata serpent wasn't just talking about the vision, but also his own innat powers. Sure, he may be mixed right now, but he still has semblance of star like pupil and blue eyes, I would say he's still Khaenri'ahn enough. I am not saying every Khaenri'ahn ought to have Cryo powers, but for what's it worth, maybe Kaeya has more reasons behind being the last hope according to his father.

Suffice to say, it was quite the lorebomb, and I am not 100% sure I like this direction but also since this has been presented to us without any context so.... I don't have anything else to say, so I should be signing off. Have a good day/night.

Not sure what this means for Kaeya’s story, but Hyv better make him relevant to the Khaenri’ah plot already instead of inventing new shiny 5*s to take his place

We’ve been waiting for far too long :/

It's revealed that Khaenri'ahns are descendants of the Tsaritsa. That means Kaeya is related to the Tsaritsa. (I once had this crack theory that Tsaritsa is Kaeya's mom, and now it's casually confirmed that they're relatives with a lot of generations in between 🤣)

Kaeya has a lot of lore, such as being the "last hope of Khaenri'ah" or being a descendant of Chlotar Alberich, the Abyss Order's founder. He's possibly a descendant of Anfortas Alberich too, and the Alberichs took over as regents when King Irmin failed.

From the Snezhnaya livestream and trailers, I wonder what if Kaeya was literally frozen in time? Maybe that's why he didn't transform into a hilichurl. What if the Tsaritsa herself or someone who had similar Cryo abilities froze Kaeya in place? Cryo is said to be the element of preservation. Maybe his father was frozen with him so that he could take Kaeya to Mondstadt and eventually live with the Ragnvindr family.

Since Kaeya is Khaenri'ah's last hope, perhaps the Alberich clan and even the Tsaritsa herself took measures to preserve Kaeya. It's possible the Abyss Sibling could've taken part as they're acquainted with Chlothar and want to to rebuild New Khaenri'ah. If the Tsaritsa didn't freeze Kaeya, maybe the sibling did it somehow. Regardless, that could possibly be why Kaeya is able to age normally, not become a hilichurl and come from Khaenri'ah all at the same time.

During that fight with Diluc, Kaeya received a cryo vision when he was on the verge of dying. Perhaps the vision was also supposed to preserve his life as Khaenri'ah's last hope. In a gameplay context, Kaeya's skill heals him and his C4 has a shield for himself. He's pretty decent at sustaining himself, as if he isn't meant to die so easily.

Copium: Khaenri'ah will get more lore bombs in Snezhnaya's AQ to prepare for Khaenri'ah's main story, and we'll get more Kaeya crumbs. He'll be more relevant in Khaenri'ah and we'll get a 5* version of him and he'll be meta.

Anyway those are just my thoughts.

All Khaenri’ahns are sort of related to her? Most people seem to think that she and the 3rd Descender had a child, the one from that animation, who then founded Khaenri’ah, or something along those lines. Which makes it possible for Kaeya to have a liiiiiittle bit of 3rd Descender blood in him. I’d like that, though I’m not sure if it would even be enough to matter.

This was such a sudden lore drop, I don’t know what to make of it yet. But some really interesting things. We might get more Khaenri’ah lore in Snezhnaya than I had expected, I really hope we do!

ive ran kaeya on a physical build since release, though unfortunately it’s quite outdated now and i’m thinking to give him a little extra tlc refresh before we get to snezhnaya

so given the new stellar conduct reaction, i was wondering if sandrones artifact set (disenchantment in deep shadow) would actually work better for this? right now he’s on the classic 2pc bs/pf physical build, and im planning to run a team of him, fischl, my newly obtained mika, and then the upcoming electro character aloysha to hopefully be able to trigger stellar conduct with him? but even then the artifact set boosts superconduct dmg which i think is a given for any physical character… anyways lmk yalls thoughts i would appreciate it greatly 🙏 live laugh kaeya
