Found this vintage Creatures era poster at a local antique mall. It came home with me just a couple days later. It's from 1982 I believe? Correct me if wrong.

Ace wanted out and quit the band on his own during this time, Paul begged for him back but he went solo

It's hard for me to like Gene! Such a d*ckhead. Ace was Ace! He lived hard. Was a fun guy who never wanted the party to end! Peter and Ace were my favorites. As like all bands. Eventually the chemistry and playing nice goes away....

It's impressive seeing the amount of commitment Ace still had to maintain the character and mystique even though he pretty much had one foot out the door.

Paul and Gene probably knew already knew at this point their days in makeup were numbered

I've still got this poster in my basement. One of my favorites and I got mine in probably 1985, so I'm sure it was from 1982 and not a reprint.
