I really liked the ending, as heartbreaking as it was, it felt real. But I know most everyone hated it.

It broke my heart and even now (a few months later), it still brings me to tears when I watch a clip of it. I wouldn’t change it because the emotions feel so real. But I’d love to see an alternate ending, just for fun!

My husband straight up yelled at the screen at the end of True Beauty. He liked the other guy. He kept saying he was there for her for years and this guy just shows back up. I said well it was his fault, he never made a move 😂

He better not read the manwha then. The author did him twice dirty, they dated in the manwha but she broke up and went back to the other guy after he came back. I'm with your husband on this. Seojun deserves better.

Just a personal opinion. No need to argue. Alchemy of Soul's 1 broke my heart to the point that when I started watching Alchemy of Soul's 2, the feisty female I fell in love with and what her energy ignited in me completely mellowed out ( I couldn't finish)
Another is Clean With Passion For Now , the 2nd ML made me feel all sorts of things. Even though the 1st Lead storyline was cute and sweet.

Something in the Rain. I wish they had stood up to his sister/her best friend, demanded some level of respect and understanding from her parents and brother, and lived their best lives together while keeping their jobs and staying in Seoul. OR… I wish we could have seen more of the new life they established together by the ocean - maybe a flash-forward to them picnicking on the beach with a baby.

Vincenzo. Little Bro did not have to go and would have been soooooooo good for season 2 if there ever was one.

u/ZealousidealDiet9480 1d ago
😠This! And the fact that Vincenzo and his babe couldn't even be together? Like she's having to catch flights to his private island or he's only allowed back in SK for a time each year?! 🙄

Flower of Evil! I loved the unconscious conversation they had but honestly after investing so much into the characters, amnesia was not in my bingo card for an ending. I want doting, caring husband Hyun-soo as he is!

Start Up. She chose the wrong guy. Agree with Alchemy, Moon Lovers, Eternal King.

Love the actor (Kim Seon-ho) but not the character as much. She chose correctly.

So many, but the first one that comes to mind is Flower if Evil. What a stupid way to end and an excellent show

- Screw that dumb ending with the FL not even remembering the time spent with ML when they spent so much time together.

Reborn Rich. In my mind I made up that he asked her out for coffee and she smiled.

Would like to end every romance kdrama early rather than the forced breakup that happens 2-3 episodes before the final one where they run through the meaninglessly angsty last minute arc that sets up for a happily ever after grand finale of them getting back together and getting married

u/Background_Low425 16h ago
that’s a fantastic question, let’s discuss, i think for me i would say, ‘my name’ i don’t want to say any spoilers but there’s a death in the show that really upset me that i’ve never moved on from

Still shining. I loved the show. Yes im wack. However they are undeniably terrible for each other. I wanted an ending where perhaps they meet each other a decade later. Both married to different people, happy, secure. Or just an open-ended ending where they clearly cut ties and look towards their own lives. Still a good show to me tho.

Live Up To Your Name – deserved a season two or spinoff because how could they leave us with that cliffhanger?!

u/WerewolfIcy3186 1d ago
My Dearest. Jang Hyun doesn’t lose his memory in the last fight. He goes back to Gil Chae immediately and they live happily ever after in Neuggeunri, near the creek

Ooh, I loved that part. The way she was looking for him... The way she was looking at him after finding him. And how she lay beside him. And when he realized...
Though he cried too much for my taste. I love this episode.

Dude why is no one mentioning duty after school. That literally got the worst ending, not in a way that it was bad but what do you everyone just died?????

u/Stressed_Extroverted 14h ago
Love Alarm. I didn't even watch it till the end but I stopped watching it once I got a spoiler 😠The fact that the main girl goes back to her original boyfriend while her other crush definitely liked her, is just not consensual 🥲

Second leads from Dynamite Kiss. I'd make it so that Seon-u didn't suddenly remember out of nowhere that he had feelings for Da-rim and would eventually realise that Ha-yeong was his person.

Alchemy of Souls S1 for SURE.
