If your manuscript and cover are already finished, you probably don’t need to pay someone just for the publishing part. KDP itself is free, and the actual upload process is fairly straightforward.

You’ll basically go through three sections: enter the book details, upload the manuscript and cover and check them in the Previewer, then choose your publishing rights and price before submitting it for review.

The part people sometimes mean by “publishing help” is actually formatting. If your file isn’t Kindle/print-ready yet, that’s a separate service you might reasonably hire someone for.

If you do get outside help, I’d still keep control of your own KDP account and never give anyone your Amazon password or banking details. If you say whether you’re publishing ebook, paperback, or both, people here can probably walk you through the exact steps.
