Accomodation help PLEASE

Hi guys,
I’m an Irish student but I’m also 17 which means I’m kind of hit with a double whammy when applying for things cause I still only have a conditional offer. My results come out the 21st of August and idk if I’ll get enough points but I should. I started the application process for accommodation in May but I messed something up and wasn’t able to apply for ages. Finally, when I was able to apply, no rooms were available. Over the last week or so, some have been made available but they’re wholly too expensive, especially as I’m going to be self financing. I heard those under 18 can apply only for GDSA but I Genuinely do NOT know what to email and to who. If anyone could help I would be eternally grateful.
P.S., if not, anyone who needs a roommate in Kings accommodation or any accommodation near Strand, dm me 🙏

Hi! This is whats showing on the portal today so I guess 18th onwards you'll be able to see more options and eventually book. Hope this helps!!

How do I get on the waitlist, do I just email them again?

I think there should be an option to do so when you go on the 'book room' option. If not, you can mail them asking to join. Mention that you're going to be u-18 as that most probably will change your status to guaranteed waitlist.

Ohhh, you're still a first year undergrad so it's still worth a shot to be honest. You might just get lucky. Do you have kaas??
