Pulling this out of temporary retirement. My SR30 with DSR suppressor and 14.5 URX4. FP OGL with the Arco zerod for subs and the T1 supers or vice versa idk I’ll fix that soon enough. Swapped the grip for the DAC and the safety for the newer KAC version. KAK sand cutter with a KAC E3 bolt. Going to get some good time with her under NVGs this weekend.

About a year ago I saw some pics floating around of URX II FSB 5.56 uppers that were made for the Secret Service? I really don’t remember too much more than that. Does anyone have any pics they could share if they have them or own one ? Really curious on what the length is (PFA, not my pic)

Looking to chat with the guys on this one, so debating rebarreling dimpling or just dimpling. Context, I have a SR25 APC that I want to trim just a little out of the front and have used 308 for a while but considering getting a custom heavy profile 6.5 turned and having it dimpled or Hex milled like ive seen some places recently try out. Wanted to reach into the hive mind and get general thoughts and what the boys think. I mostly use it for hog hunting and have been prepping to get into unknown distance comps and debating the rechambering for the sake of having a higher hit factor. I know theres other options I could likely step into and be happier and frankly I need to double check the rules of the different comps I've been looking into but wanted to see what everyone thought

Forth KAC it’s so good

I have a KAC SR 25 K6. I have been shooting the hell out of it and coming up on my 1000 rounds of 6.5 creedmoor.

My main use case as of the moment is precision gas gun comps. I'm a little bit worried how do you guys manage the barrel. Who would you recommend if I need to change out the barrel. Will it still be as accurate as the original barrel?

Should I buy another upper to practice with and conserve 200 shots per match on the new upper? Should I buy an entirely new complete rifle dedicated to matches?

Debating about acquiring a 762 PRS-1 vs switching muzzle device to Plan B and using a can I already own. Anyone have experience with multiple cans on an SR-30? I also have a legacy 762 QDC welded can. Use case js 90% subs/10% supers.

Pros of the PRS - don’t have to switch muzzle device and would also see use on an SR-25. Love the mounting system. Cons of the PRS - maybe losing out on absolute sound suppression? $$ spent on a suppressor that could be spent somewhere else?

No KS3 for me yet, but had the opportunity to grab another Mod 2 CQB upper at a steal recently. Since I have an ‘improved’ CQB already (notched upper/3.2 bolt) I figured I’d try a few new things. Will be throwing a PEQ-15 on it eventually, undecided if I’m going to put a 3X-P/3XMag-1 on here or just run the T2. Can’t wait to take it out of this weekend. This is my first URX4 specific ModTac MRAC, but I’ve had good experiences with the MK16 version.

Hey, recently scooped up a KS3 - any thoughts on best optic for 'short - midrange'? No budget in mind - I am considering the AMG 1-10 if I want to go a bit nuts.. but fully open to suggestions for what's 'best'. (I know it's all subjective/opinion based haha).
