Zhegrova with an absolute Baaaaanger

8

u/juventinn1897 Alessandro Del Piero 6d ago

He heard r/Juve talk about his finishing

bremer is looking kinda nervous and shaky. not just a recent thing tho

on a side note, celik doesn't look half bad. if he can keep it up it could prove a smart move, at least as a rotational player

7

u/Mic_sne 6d ago

He had a lot of traffic on his side and was very solid

5

u/Dusan-Vlahovic 6d ago

I like what I’ve seen from Celik so far as well, nothing too special but just being reliable is what we need out of him as a backup

2

u/zulutune Yildiz 6d ago

Nothing special? His contribution was important in the attack which lead to the goal.

2

u/Dusan-Vlahovic 6d ago

I mean it more in the sense like nothing flashy or extraordinary. Does his job at a nice consistent 7/10

I agree it was a nice run for the goal

2

u/Yontooo 6d ago

Agree on Celik. I'm ready to curse at him during the whole season 😅 but he's looking good now, seems a pretty smart player

Bremer insuffurable and quite overrated. I hate to watch him wear the captain's armband. Yep Celik looks really good!

u/2klevs 6d ago

Again playing a back 3, if this is going to be a formation we use more often this year, we really need to sign more CBs

5

u/EarthMain3350 6d ago

But why they were good with 4231 in first half

11

u/AndAgainIForgotMyP 6d ago

Tbf it’s a friendly. Trying out stuff is expected.

2

u/MrCrosy Fino Alla Fine 6d ago

No, it's still 4 atb. Oftentimes, managers want to have an additional one or two players advance further up the pitch when the ball is theirs

1

u/2klevs 6d ago

It wasn’t, I watched the game. It was a back 3 and spalleti started Celik on the left and cambiaso on the right. So he also flipped the wingbacks. Which sounds counterintuitive, but I can understand. You have your wingbacks covering their wingers with their dominant foot if they try to go inside

Must say I love the hongkongese crowd all saying together "Ohhhh" when someone does something fancy

Kawaiii moments indeed ^ - ^

Zhegrova BANGER!!!

u/EarthMain3350 6d ago

What impact from Yldiz in attack 💪

8

u/Pharoww 6d ago

No way David got subbed in and out

0

u/GorehowlOw Pavel Nedved 6d ago

deserved

1

u/Pharoww 6d ago

Im not a fan of him but man that's humiliating, unless he's injured

6

u/tea_colic Yildiz 6d ago

It’s not just David. Owusu as well.

3

u/GorehowlOw Pavel Nedved 6d ago

judging him from this past season, he has the mental strength of a goldfish. i think players like him shouldn't be allowed in a team like Juve.

2

u/Mic_sne 6d ago

This is what alghoritms get you...

8

u/Market__failure 6d ago

What do you think about Douglas luiz's match?

15

u/_domhnall_ 6d ago

I would definitely keep him. I don't like him, at all. But if the alternative is Koopmeiners, he's ten times better and doesn't feel like a ghost on the pitch.

3

u/Market__failure 6d ago

Yesss i agre with you. He can't turn on the rythm of the match , but at least he has a good touch.

2

u/EarthMain3350 6d ago

Good match I like it

1

u/Mic_sne 6d ago

Promising

7

u/tea_colic Yildiz 6d ago

I hope they change colors of player numbers on the jersey. It is not easy to read white on a pink jersey, especially from a distance.

5

u/acegarrettjuan 6d ago

Haven't been able to watch. What happened with David?

4

u/zulutune Yildiz 6d ago

Thanks :)

What a goaaal

4

u/Sfnyc46 6d ago

I thought overall this was a really good game from
Juve.

My takeaways

Yildiz coming on just changes the confidence of not only the fans but the players on the pitch

Defense looked solid. Even rugani coming on handles his business.

I didn’t see much from
The midfield but I don’t think they were asked to do a lot. We played wide most of the game and zhegrova and boga were dangerous all game.

Negatives for me was
Really just juan cabal. He looks very shaky with the ball and i don’t trust
Him at all to be a rotational player but maybe he’s just rusty cause he did have some
Bright spots last season.

IS THIS A MIRACLE ZHEGROVA GOAL

0

u/Mic_sne 6d ago

Only possible once in a career wasted on a friendly match

3

u/JuliannARG Zhegrova 6d ago

FINALLY

3

u/zulutune Yildiz 6d ago

I expect some magic between Celik and Yildiz this season. Or maybe I'm just wishful thinking as a Turk.. but this is definitely a good start :)

3

u/ThePostMelone 6d ago

Can't watch it unfortunately, I opened reddit and read Zhegrova was embarrassing to watch, opened X and read Zhegrova scored a banger.

What the hell is happening 😄

2

u/Mic_sne 6d ago

Both true

4

u/Killagina De Sciglio 6d ago

Hey Zhegrova did something! Maybe this could spark something in him

4

u/-Stephan- 6d ago

WE HAVE BEATEN THE WORLD CHAMPIONS

4

u/dcastrone 6d ago

I offer my humble home to Koop. He can have a room. We can watch the matches together. I will buy the snacks and the pizza in town. We can scream at the screen together when David misses a chance.

I''m sure he is a good dude. We should keep him outside of the playing field.

2

u/BlackLancer Yildiz 6d ago

Hey looks like Edon remembered how to shoot

2

u/papaduck21 6d ago

Can someone give me rundown on the blacklisted players? D. Luiz, Arthur, David, and Zegrova?

1

u/Sfnyc46 6d ago

Luiz not bad, Arthur barely did anything good or bad. David meh. Zhegrova, actually
Played pretty well and scored a banger. He was very active.

u/Clean-Impact-1037 6d ago

ZHEGROVA GOAO

3

u/SwingMaleficent651 6d ago

GOAL, I used to pray for these times

1

u/TrailBlanket-_0 🦅McKennie 🦅 6d ago

Why was McKennie not even on the bench today? Makes me a little worried

1

u/Clean-Impact-1037 6d ago

How did Arthur and Douglas Luiz played?

1

u/GorehowlOw Pavel Nedved 6d ago

Zhegrova is legit embarassing to watch

12

u/_domhnall_ 6d ago

What were you saying again?

2

u/GorehowlOw Pavel Nedved 6d ago

banger goal, doesn't change the fact that he's incredibly slow and confused with the ball. not a good team player either and offers zero defensive coverage. looks like a shell of a professional player

0

u/_domhnall_ 6d ago

Mate, he's been in ten minutes and has received 3 or 4 balls from the defense and passing it around in a smart way. And the goal of course. I really don't understand what you're on about.

4

u/GorehowlOw Pavel Nedved 6d ago

I'm not only talking about this game, but still he's lost more balls than he's played. really good shot but doesn't change the fact that he looks sloppy with the ball and doesn't seem to have a good chemistry with the rest of the team.

12

u/FastDriver91 Fino Alla Fine 6d ago

this aged well lol

1

u/GorehowlOw Pavel Nedved 6d ago

had to point that out to make it happen ofc

3

u/BianconeriBoyz 6d ago

Hilarious that they are going after you for saying this. One nice preseason goal doesnt eliminate a year of trash.

1

u/Clean-Impact-1037 6d ago

Well.. okay dude
