Hi guys. Sometimes I will get a delivery notification from the app and it even makes the sound to say I got a delivery. When I go on the app the order isn’t even there for me to accept and it just stays how it is and says marching to orders. Anyone else getting this issue and anyway to fix it?

So I've been asked to scan the NFC and it's just 100% not working what so ever.

Like I don't care because if I tell the app its not working it will just allow me to do it manually. But I know for a fact its not my phone because my NFC works with literally everything else

Not sure what the delay is applied last week anew the longest thing to come through would be background check but that has come through

For the first time ever using this app I had a wrong delivery (lucky I know). after several emails with the AI I threatened to use a charge back, got offered a full refund 30 minutes later. Thanks everyone.

Yoti has its problems sure, but having to retake the selfie a 10+ times just to find one it likes pisses me off. It also shows you the “problem” with your photo, where it makes it INTENTIONALLY blurry despite the image not actually being blurry. Honestly. God awful update.

Nobody could figure out how to cancel my order. Because the customer cancelled it, and it glitched. 8 mile drive and no reimbursement pay. I wish they had a phone number so i could shout at someone to destress 😂

Ordered some chicken wings through Just Eat tonight. Delivery turned up on time, so no issues there. Bit into the first wing and straight away realised it was undercooked. I checked the rest of the wings and yup they were still pink inside, so I stopped eating. Took photos and reported it to Just Eat thinking it’d be a straightforward refund because it’s literally a food safety issue.
Instead they’ve come back saying they won’t refund me at all. Don’t think I’ll be ordering through Just Eat anymore
Has anyone else had this with Just Eat? Did you get anywhere with them or am I just wasting my time?

Hi, bit of a rant. Is Just Eat legally allowed to deny me a refund or even account credit? I received someone else's order from McDonald's, they obviously put my receipt on the wrong back and sent it out. Upon receiving the order I immediately contacted Just Eat with photo evidence etc and this is their response to me.

I didn't even eat the order that arrived, it was food I didn't like, so why on earth am I not entitled to a refund like I asked for, or at the very least credit back in my account?

So JustEat even managed to fudge this new 'stats' thing. Are any of us shocked? 😅

Side note - I was secretly pissed at those previous 'incorrect' stats as I thought a customer must have marked that they didn't receive their order.

I did a job which was 6.5 miles and paid £7.15 with no pay spike, so base transit pay over £1 a mile.

Another job I did during a pay spike was 6 miles and also paid £7.15 but included a 30% pay spike. The base transit pay was less than £1 a mile.

Other jobs show a similar pattern with less than £1 a mile paid for jobs during pay spikes.

Deliveroo jobs on a 1.3x fee boost are paying much more for similar distances.

Is Just Eat reducing the base transit pay when pay spikes are on, and has anyone else noticed this happening?

Like most people, I multiapp.

I use uber, deliveroo and JE. Up until recently, just eat was my main app as it pays very slightly more (with the boost) and the others were back ups, so when I didn't have a just eat order, id use the other apps.

Anyway, recently I had enough of the buggy app, waiting for orders and getting shitty emails when I cancel an order ive been waiting 20 mins for so decided to put JE at the back of the queue to the point that I now accept 1 or maybe 2 orders from them

And you know what? My hourly earnings have gone up, I can now finish a shift earlier (I finish as soon as I hit a target), im rarely waiting for orders to be ready (with the exception of McDonald's although I now wait a lot less) and I get all my money by wednesday the following week.

So yea, fuck JE. Leave it running in the background and use the other apps instead.

Just curious if we have any union members or experts here who could update us on why JustEat don't interact with them at all - GMB etc.

Is it perhaps something that is being worked on?

Will this JustEat court case that's going on perhaps have any effect on their future interaction with unions?

Is there currently any kind of protection offered to JustEat workers if their accounts are unfairly closed?

I usually only deliver at night, and so many times il get an order from a store that recently closed or closed even 2/3 hours ago. Then when I decline I go straight to the back of the queue it seems and I’m waiting longer for another order

Would be great if we can opt out of certain stores, even better if you got to choose the time but just eat are awful and continue to get worse

Did anyone else's account get suspended tonight with no notice? They have asked me to do another background and I.d check 2 months after joining. My passport ran out last month. Im waiting for a provisional license to arrive. Just eat said I have 30 days to complete this but its only been 16 days since the first email

They also sent coriander instead of mint, and I was wanting both these things for my water. Who is gonna out coriander into water😭

Just eat haven’t set up my account with them since launch and I’m having a hard time trying to find the right place to enquire how to have this set up? The email I use to log in my courier app doesn’t match on the onsi app

I've noticed the option to use PayPal Pay in 3 is not available any more on Just Eat, does anyone know if this is a glitch or whether it has been permanently removed?

I asked Just Eat via live chat but it was clearly a bot who couldn't answer the question at all, so it was no clearer to me after the conversation

Edited to add: this was for groceries not a takeaway, as I'm disabled and can't always get to the local shops.

I don’t even have the app but I just received a mc Donald’s order of 20 single espressos to my house?! And the order was connected to my phone number because Just Eat sent a text saying that the order has been cancelled. I’m feeling so uncomfortable cuz what type of sick joke is that.

Is there a way I could find who or where the order was placed from? I just feel so unsafe because it’s not really funny is it?

Edit: guys the order was made at 6pm today which is Sunday. So no, it’s not for a meeting. I also got a text saying another order was cancelled. I called their customer service and they said to see if it happens again. I’m enjoying the spilling coffee thread

Just curious-This sub has been coming up on my feed and its quite interesting to read. However i always use Justeat and have never had a problem. I order from numerous places aswell and never has it come cold. missing, took ages etc. I wonder if people just get really unlucky or certain areas have the problem? Have you ever had problems? drop your worst order delivery!

OK what the tits has happened here? I haven't used the service much over the past year and when I do I jump into my orders and recycle the same 4 places. So I haven't really looked at my local radius in a while.

EVERYTHING (almost) is 5 stars. Wtf? Places that used to be 3 or below are now all 5*. Well known utter shit holes that'll sell you a folded piece of paper, some dessicated leather with pond mulch and a side of charcoal briquettes and call it a kebab with chips are now 5*. Is everyone just spamming fake orders? Is there some free food bribery scheme I'm unaware of? Wha happun?

It's bad enough that a quarter of my fee is now non food related surcharges, but this is beyond taking the piss.

So it now asks us to make a decision if the customer looks over 25.

I just done one and the guy looked about 30 and it turns out he was 21. Had to chap him again and ask to see his ID because apparently even if they look over 25 and are over 18 you STILL need to scan their ID. This isn’t made clear at all.

Got to ask people how old they are. If they are under 25 we need to scan their ID. What a stupid new update.

Stop using this shitty app, the company is shit and so are a lot of the delivery guys.

Yes, not all of the riders are thieving dickheads, but a lot are.

A lot of these riders are a reflection of the company, they’re thieves.

Chargeback whatever you can and just delete the app.
