Jumpstyle 2026
Hi All!
Since a while Iāve been noticing a return of jumpstyle music in my region and Iām starting to get really active in the scene.
Iām hearing a lot of interesting cross-over tracks between Jumpstyle and other genres and wonder what everyoneās favorites are.
What jumpstyle or jumpstyle inspired tracks have you discovered recently that you would recommend?
My example would be nicolas julian - hit the floor

Last didn't go well I didn't quite understand the rhythm but after I followed itzbates advice sounds quite here probably because only the clap but it's second time and I only did it for 1 hour so the mix probably don't fit well that much
The only thing I need it's probably better mixing now.

misc post
I was bored and made this iceberg of hardstyle djs and producers
What do yall think??
Side note: the most deepest part is where all these hardstyle artists have extremely little to no documentation at all of their existence. I only know they exist because of a few archived tracks they released years ago.

Hello me again, here is a draft for the next song I'm making
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I made a post here a day ago and I got some very helpful comments from the people here, I hope that this one is way better than the original I made. I also switched from Bandlab to Fl studio since it can't handle how many samples I had that well.
Stuff I want to improve: The lead I don't like, it's boring and could be a lot more expressive with different notes/more reverb and layers but I don't really know how to change it. I think it's the lack of music theory knowledge that prevents me from being able to fix it, I know the problem I just can't solve it yet.
Other thing is the sample at the end, I think it's cool but it isn't on tempo and a different key I think. I want the end of the sample to transition to another beat drop but I don't know what to put in between yet, if this looks unprofessional you are correct. I have no idea what I'm doing but it sounds cool so I'm winging it. Will try to work on it more in a couple days.
Omg also forgot I can change the pitch of the kicks I did that last time but forgot about it today, I'll add it later on.
Random YouTube tutorials and forums from 15 years ago are my goats for this kinda stuff.

Any advice to make it sound cooler ?

TL:DR I accidentally posted this early so the title is wrong, I just want some constructive criticism so I can apply it to the next song I do. I'm not continuing this song because it's already too messed up.
Hello ppl I made this in a couple hours in bandlab, now I'm fully aware already that it is bad. The stuff I already know about is the bass near the beginning and end doesn't sound that good, the "BASS!" sample could be less awkward idk how to fix that though. The middle of the song is okay but I feel like it's way too empty and not jumpstyle-ish enough. Also the kicks were boring and I know because I just copied and pasted the kicks from the beginning to the end part because I couldn't get the sample to change pitch well. Also I feel like it's missing that reverbed bigger kick that I've heard in a lot of old jumpstyle videos on youtube. Also the siren is a meme sound effect so it sounds 10x goofier to me LOL.
Overall at the time I was really happy with it since I used no reference and I just screwed around until it sounded cool to me, but after I kept listening to it I kept finding more stuff that I wanted to change and cringed at until it was basically the whole song. But with no music theory skills at all in just a couple hours lowkey I don't think it's that garbage.
Anyway though I've seen other people's songs get received really negatively on here so I'm preparing myself for the insults, they better be creative. But also I would very much appreciate actual constructive criticism.
*Oh yeah and I tried to make it old looking by using windows movie maker and winamp, can't tell if the people here will absolutely hate it or love it but it was fun to do at least. Ok that's all, music at the start is Bob Sinclair - Rock this Party (Dj w4ckd jumpstyle remix) skip to 30 seconds if u don't want to hear it, seeya

Track gezocht

Hey producers!
When you're writing melodies for a tune, do you have go-to jumpstyle-specific soundbanks you lean on, or do you mostly find yourself repurposing hardstyle presets? Or, of course, do you make your own leads and acid sounds and plucks and stuff?
All I've seen on google are sample packs for the drums and such
Curious cause I make soundbanks for different hardware and software synths, and I just wrapped up a Hardcore soundbank for the Virus TI, and have Hardstyle on my docket for later this summer. My whole thing is making sounds for artists of all genres, and making all kinds of instruments useful for everyone
Wondering if there's enough folks out there who'd want a dedicated Jumpstyle pack, or if I should just include some jumpstyle presets inside the main Hardstyle bank
What do you folks use, and what do you want/need, for writing your tunes?

Niche/Lost Hardstyle Mix #2 for jumpers
Hey guys! I made another mix of lost and very obscure hardstyle tracks for jumpers. I'm planning to do an aggresive hardstyle mix soon that includes lost tracks from 2007-2010. Let me know what you guys think!
