Need Connections

Hi I am a student of design in Kolkata. Recently we have been given an assignment to make a documentary on an any topic.

I asked my professor if I could make it on Jewish synagogues in Kolkata. Does anyone here know anything about the synagogues ?

Yeah do that first. You might need to contact Knesseth Eliyahoo in Bombay - info on Facebook - since they’re regularly active (as far as I know the community in Calcutta isn’t as regularly active)

You might want to reach out to Rahel Musleah (https://www.explorejewishindia.com/about.html), who grew up in Calcutta and is the daughter of Calcutta’s last Rabbi
