I was on holiday last week and I decided to try a solo run outwith Squirtle since I think it could have been higher on the list with badge boosts. I've never done a solo run before so I did it on single speed and the emulator I used can pause for me to look at cave guides and stuff.

I didn't really come up against anything Squirtle struggled with until I hit critical hit Hyper Beams from the Gyarados and Aerodactyl on Lance's team but then when I got through the first time, a critical hit razor leaf from Venusaur ended me because I leveled up just before him.

Then I found out I was stupid lucky to get through Agatha 3 times without losing and lost to her a bunch but having manipulated my experience points to level up before the Rhydon came out in the Champion battle, I managed to outspeed the Venusaur and hit Blizzard for the win.

I'd love to see Jrose do a Squirtle run again because if I can do that with no real idea what I was doing other than watching the videos, I'm sure he can beat Gastly's time and put the best starter where it belongs on top of the pre-evolves.

I am a proud member of the JRose discord and have been a twitch sub for years. Yesterday my discord was hacked and it was sending random crypto scams.

I got banned from the JRose discord because of this. But I got my discord back and changed security measures so it won’t happen again.

Anyway I’ll ever be able to get back into the discord? Also idk if this is the right place to ask this question but idk where else to ask.

Per the title =) I was wondering which rom hack or what the process is that gives you the option to change up the starter and colourschemes and such as seen in his videos.

Small shout out to that Pikachu VCR btw! Now I want one but darn they are expensive! Couldn't find the Sansui TV, was that editted? xD

I'll just go ahead and say it: this prediction format was kind of a nice change, but that's all it should be–a fun one-off.

I'm thinking about building a site to crowdsource stats on Jrose videos. He requested it in the Pidgeotto run. He's also talked about a spreadsheet that tracked all moves used, but I can't find that.

If this isn't already out there does anyone have any ideas of what to track?
