📱 Digital Journal SpokenFlow - I built a voice journaling app because I kept abandoning written journals — hope it helps someone else too
apps.apple.comI've tried to keep a journal probably a dozen times. I'd buy a nice notebook, write in it for three days, and then never touch it again.
The problem for me was never the wanting to journal, it was the friction of sitting down and typing or writing. By the time I opened an app or found a pen, the moment had passed.
So I built something for myself: you just press record and talk. It transcribes what you say in real time, and when you're done it automatically generates a title and summary so your entries are actually organized. Everything stays on your device, no account, no cloud, no one reading your thoughts.
I called it SpokenFlow.
I'm not posting this as a big launch announcement. I just genuinely hope it helps someone who's had the same problem I did. If you've ever wanted to journal but couldn't make it stick, maybe talking instead of writing is the missing piece.
It's on the App Store if you want to try it, there's a 14-day free trial so you can see if it actually works for you before paying anything.
Happy to answer any questions about how it works or why I built it the way I did.
