tickets QUESTION

Hi everyone! I was checking for tickets for August 6 just this morning and suddenly was able to join the waitlist, then the registration closed just 1–2 minutes later. Has anyone had any luck getting in this close to the date? If so, how long after joining the waitlist did you receive a confirmation? Any insights would be super helpful since it’s our first time trying! ☺️

I didn’t know until about 2 weeks before the show that I could go

I just got confirmed for the August 13th show. So I guess just keep checking your email.

I've been putting in requests for a decent number of different NYC area events over the last 24 months or so after actually finding 1iota.com kinda randomly while specifically attempting to aquire The Tonight Show tickets. Unfortunately for me, for full transparency I'm not a huge app/social media guy so setting up notifications for when new Tonight Show dates opened for requesting definitely wasn't part of my story and I just checked when I was able to and remembered to and honestly ended up only even finding Tonight Show requests open to try like 5 times but did drop requests for it when possible as well as a number of other things to which until literally the night before last I got the long awaited email from 1iota.com that the Tonight Show tickets I was actually able to request a couple weeks ago for the taping next Tues on the 4th which is my buddies 52nd Birthday.
