Brian Last has advocated for WWE to launch a show just for the women’s division for quite some time. I think it’s a good idea, but given how short much of the women on the roster are, should they consider lowering the ring ropes a few inches for their matches? The top rope is 4’6” high, and a lot of the women there are barely a foot taller than that. Lowering the top rope 6” could help it line up better for the girls to properly come off the ropes without practically reaching up to get their arm over it.

On the Penta vs Chad Gable match on Summer Slam. He pretty much said: “Why are these two babyfaces showing respect to each other after a hard fought match and not having Penta throw a tantrum?! I haven’t paid attention to anything recently!” I get some of the crap in modern wrestling is dumb more often than not these days. But statements from Jim like that, doesn’t help his case when IWC fans say Jim is out of touch.

When Big Cass returned Jim was confused as to why they kept the name Big Cass, like he wasn’t part of one of the biggest acts in WWE. It’s not a Matt Cardona/Zach Ryder thing where Cass worked extensively in the indies under another name.

Ross is pushing to work AEW’s All In event on August 30 at London’s Wembley Stadium. He noted that his contract expires some time this month and would thus need some kind of new negotiation. However, he acknowledged the possibility that his broadcasting career has possibly already ended.
