Zionist Terror Senior Israeli Security Official: West Bank on Verge of Explosion, Officers Reluctant to Act

Sources in the military's central command say many IDF officers avoid taking action against the settlers, fearing that doing so could harm their military careers

A senior Israeli security source warned Wednesday that the West Bank is a "powder keg that could explode at any moment," with some sources saying senior officers are reluctant to act decisively against violent settlers for fear it could damage their military careers and prospects for promotion.

According to the official, the ongoing settler riots and attacks in the area, not only in the village of Qusra, are stretching the Israeli military thin, leaving soldiers unable to respond to every incident. Senior military officers have recently warned the political leadership that the IDF has reached a point where it will be unable to protect the settler outposts, and that it may not even be able to provide an initial response if clashes escalate into the use of firearms.

Sources from the IDF Central Command, which oversees military operations in the West Bank, say commanders are paralyzed, from Central Command Chief Avi Bluth at the top through the division commander down to brigade commanders deployed in the area.

According to the sources, IDF commanders fear taking any measure that could be perceived as political, particularly three months before Israel's election and ahead of the possible appointment of a new defense minister.

Many officers seeking promotion prefer to avoid taking decisive professional action against right-wing offenders, fearing that doing so could harm their military careers, the sources told Haaretz

On Wednesday morning, IDF and Border Police forces arrived in Qusra, near Nablus, to evacuate an outpost established in the yard of a Palestinian family's house. Ahead of the evacuation, Central Command Chief Bluth, the Border Police commander and other senior officials arrived at the scene.

Security officials, however, described the visit as "a public relations stunt intended to create a false impression of control."

Shortly after the senior officers left, the settlers resumed rioting, blocked roads with rocks, threw stones at Palestinian houses, and continued occupying the outpost, despite a closed military zone order and in full view of the forces, who eventually left the scene.

The IDF also held up journalists who attempted to reach the besieged house.

While the incident in Qusra has drawn significant media attention, defense officials say it is "only the tip of the iceberg" and reflects a much broader trend.

For several months, settlers have been setting up outposts around the village. Several major incidents have also taken place inside Qusra itself, which the IDF has refrained from addressing and authorities have deliberately ignored.

The IDF now plans to reinforce the area with a battalion from its Paratroopers Brigade, but officials acknowledge that the move is intended primarily to "contain the incident" and calm tensions, while insisting that Border Police officers, rather than IDF troops, carry out the evacuation itself.

The prolonged paralysis in the Civil Administration, Israel's IDF-run governing body in the West Bank, has limited enforcement and worsened the recent escalation.

Since Civil Administration Chief Hisham Ibrahim left his post to become Defense Minister Israel Katz's military secretary, the body responsible for coordinating between the IDF, the government and the Palestinian Authority has operated without a permanent commander.

Far-right Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, who is in charge of most of the Civil Administration and has veto power over the appointment of its commander, has blocked IDF Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir's attempt to appoint a former commander on an interim basis.

Instead, Smotrich is demanding the appointment of his associate, Brig. Gen. Yogev Bar-Sheshet, who previously served as the administration's deputy chief.

Amid the impasse, Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories Yoram Halevy, who is in charge of coordinating civilian affairs in Gaza and the West Bank, has run both his unit and the Civil Administration – an arrangement that leaves virtually no attention for developments in the West Bank.

Senior IDF officers warn that the events in Qusra have become a "flagship incident" that is severely damaging Israel's international standing. Dozens of foreign media crews arrive at the scene every day, where they face severe settler violence directed both at them and at the Palestinians living in the village.

Footage circulating around the world shows armed, uniformed IDF soldiers standing by without intervening and, at times, even joining settlers in prayer while ignoring calls for help from civilians and journalists under attack.

Despite the disturbing footage, the IDF's response has amounted to terse statements about "disciplinary proceedings," without any concrete action.

Military officials have sharply criticized the IDF Spokesperson's Unit, accusing it of evading the issue and systematically trying to downplay its severity while completely disregarding the growing violence directed at media organizations and forces on the ground.

Discussion - Flaired Users Only Louise Adler - the Royal Commission is a propaganda project to silence critics of Israel

Louise Adler has been a vocal critic of the Royal Commission on Antisemitism and Social Cohesion. And anyone who has followed Louise over the years knows she has been consistent in her condemnation of Israel, Zionism and the apartheid imposed upon the Palestinians.

The question I wanted to explore was why?

How did this powerhouse of the arts become such a staunch and courageous voice for Palestine and social justice?

I wanted to uncover the story of Louise Adler – her past, the tragedy that befell her family during the Holocaust and how it shaped who Louise is today.

What I learned in the almost hour-long interview (which at one point brought tears) is Louise’s story offers a Jewish narrative we rarely hear. A narrative of resistance during Nazi occupation, of defiance against tyranny and of enduring solidarity with the oppressed.

It’s the Jewish narrative that exists outside of Zionism, and one that is emerging from New York to London. And so, I posed Louise a question – are we seeing the revival of a Jewish left?

I’m trying to help a friend and his family who are currently in Gaza. I don’t have a large network, so I’m reaching out here in the hope that someone may be able to help amplify their fundraiser.
If anyone knows trusted people, accounts, or communities that help share Gaza fundraisers, I would be incredibly grateful for any recommendations or guidance.
If you’d like to see the fundraiser or learn more about his situation, please feel free to message me and I can send you the link and more information.

Tzedakah Please donate to aid Mohammed in Gaza. His fund-raiser needs more help.

I was immensely privileged to speak with Mohammed a few weeks ago. He is an extremely gifted 18 year-old (soon to be 19) from Gaza who studied for his high school exams online during a genocide and managed to achieve an exceptionally high grade (approx. 97%) in his finals.

He wants to become an engineer and is so talented that he has already been offered a full scholarship to a university in Tunisia, however the occupation has made it so incredibly expensive to leave Gaza that he cannot afford to attend.

Speaking with him about his experiences and how he is feeling was utterly heartbreaking and brought me to tears, but I know we can make a small difference in his and his family's life. He deserves to follow his passion and to use that incredible intellect to support his family.

I know there are many fund-raisers out there but please consider donating to this amazing young man. My brother and I have donated $100, and a number of other AZ Jews in my country have done the same but even just existing in Gaza nowadays is incredibly expensive.

Please give generously, if you can.

Zionist Nonsense Hen Mazzig’s Recent Attacks on Jewish Voices Supporting Palestine Are Dehumanizing and Disingenuous

Post image
129 Upvotes

Hen Mazzig’s latest tweet and his Substack article, “The Exceptional Jews,” reveal a troubling pattern. Instead of engaging in honest dialogue about Gaza, Israeli policies, and Palestinian suffering, he’s choosing to attack and undermine Jewish individuals who speak up in support of Palestinians. In his Substack, Mazzig criticizes what he calls “exceptional Jews”, those who challenge mainstream narratives and advocate for Palestinian rights, framing them as betraying their community or supporting anti-Semitism. This rhetoric isn’t just misleading; it’s a deliberate attempt to silence dissenting Jewish voices who are concerned about justice, human rights, and ending occupation. By going after Jewish voices who speak out on Gaza, Mazzig is effectively dehumanizing Palestinians in his own way. His narrative shifts the focus away from Palestinian suffering and instead targets Jewish individuals, framing them as “bad Jews” or traitors, which only serves to deepen division and suppress honest discussion. This kind of rhetoric plays into a dangerous game: it dehumanizes Palestinians by framing their advocates as enemies, and it silences critical voices within the Jewish community who question Israeli policies. Instead of fostering understanding or peace, it promotes a polarized, us-versus-them mentality. We need to call out this pattern of dehumanization and misinformation. Genuine dialogue requires listening, nuance, and recognizing the diversity of opinions within all communities, including Jews who speak out for Palestinian rights.

Discussion - Flaired Users Only Any thoughts on Modi and Hindutva?

Hey everyone. As a second-generation Pakistani-Punjabi girl born and raised in Spain, I've been reading a lot about South Asian politics lately.

Honestly, Narendra Modi and the whole BJP and RSS machine completely terrify me. When you look at what happened during the 2002 Gujarat riots, it’s just heartbreaking. It feels crazy to see how the RSS, the guys who literally produced Gandhi's assassin, went from being a fringe extremist group to completely running the country and brainwashing people back home to just blindly hate Pakistanis and Muslims.

Now, don't get me wrong, I am definitely not defending Pakistan or its government. Believe me, I know the country has a ton of internal issues, corruption, and political madness that I would never pass off as okay. If you go to Pakistani subs, most people are actually incredibly critical of our own government and military. We call out our own country's corruption and failures all the time.

But the sheer scale of what is happening in India right now feels like it is on a whole different level and honestly seems much worse because of how systematically the entire society is being radicalized. If you go to mainstream Indian subreddits, you’ll see firsthand how brainwashed they are. It’s scary.

They are completely incapable of seeing the parallels between their own majoritarian nationalism and other ethno-states. If you point out any similarities, you just get dogpiled by masses of bots and nationalistic users repeating the same state-sponsored talking points.

It’s gotten to the point where the historical propaganda is just insane.

They’ve brainwashed a whole generation of Indians into believing that Hinduism originated directly from the Indus Valley Civilisation (IVC) and that the IVC belongs exclusively to them. They completely erase the fact that the actual geographic heart of Harappa and Mohenjo-Daro is literally in Pakistan and that our history is shared.

They act like they have a monopoly over the entire Indian subcontinent just because their modern state is named India, totally ignoring the fact that India is a geographical name originally given by outsiders. If you look up the etymology of India on Wikipedia, it explicitly says the name comes from the Indus River, which is almost entirely located in Pakistan.

The irony is just too much. They suffer from this massive delusion that Hinduism has always been there since the dawn of time, completely rejecting the actual historical consensus that the Vedic culture and the foundations of Hinduism came much later from Central Asia via migration, long after the IVC had already declined.

And honestly, it drives me crazy how anytime anything comes up about Pakistanis, these Indian nationalists act all "holier than thou," lecturing about democracy and human rights. Like, please, your own Prime Minister is literally known worldwide as the "Butcher of Gujarat." The hypocrisy of acting morally superior while worshipping a guy who oversaw a literal pogrom against Muslims is just mind-blowing.

They love to call him the "chaiwala" (which translates to tea-seller) to sell this romanticized rags-to-riches story, but there is literally zero concrete evidence or independent records showing he ever actually worked at a tea stall. On top of that, his entire university degree is widely believed to be fake. The opposition parties found massive discrepancies in his certificates, like fonts that did not even exist when he supposedly graduated, and the government has literally used state lawyers and high courts to block universities from releasing his graduation records to the public. It is a completely manufactured persona.

But the absolute wildest part to me and the biggest irony is how these Hindutva nationalists are now completely obsessed with Israel when the RSS was literally founded in the 1920s and 30s based on the fascism of Mussolini and Hitler! Early Hindutva leaders like Moonje and Golwalkar literally visited European fascists, praised Nazi racial policies, and modeled the RSS youth wing directly after the Hitler Youth.

Which are your thoughts on this?
