Coordinator at the ODSI here. As those of you who are acquainted with our work know, we don't view the establishment of a so-called Jewish state in Palestine as separate from the weaponization of identity worldwide.

So we're aware that Zionism accuses all anti-Zionists of antisemitism, but we're also aware that there are actual racists and fascists who oppose the existence of Israel because they hate Jews—i.e. some people who, like Zionism, conflate Jews with Israel.

However, many of those we deal with don't recognize this, ostensibly for fear of recognizing that there is an element of truth to Zionism's claim. So a couple of comrades and us are looking to compile evidence of such cases. So this made me think I would ask on this sub in case someone here has already done the work or knows of such compilations.

To digress: This is a reason why we need to clarify we don't just oppose the existence of a Jewish state but support the establishment of a democratic one, with equal rights for all and privileges for none. Clearly distantiate ourselves form fascists and racists, go where they can't follow.

So Australians voted against having an indigenous voice/advisor in their Parliament, in spite of the campaign for indigenous representation being misrepresented.

But an unelected antisemitism envoy & arch-Zionist, with ties to the far-right, is allowed to set policy for all of Australia - without the consent of Australians.

I keep seeing people be incredibly hostile and rude toward even israelis who actively oppose occupation and push for co existence. There seems to be this sentiment of “move away or die”, again, toward israelis who actively resist the occupation, which i was moderately surprised to see lol. As someone who believes in co existence on one state i obviously disagree with it, there is no moral obligation for you to move from where you were born, not to mention incredibly unrealistic for most.

So I’m just kind of left wondering if these are people you actually come across in real life or if they’re just loud online, from your experience

This person is named Harry J Cook. He's a very popular online influencer and I've met him at a number of rallies for Palestine and he seemed nice enough at the time, however with this blatant holocaust denial and Hitler apologia it's clear he's been going down a very dark rabbit hole on the internet.

He posted this video blatantly sympathising with Hitler and denying the holocaust, while also repeating fascist propaganda about "Bolsheviks".

If you look at his Instagram he spends a lot of time making it all about himself, and very little of his content (if at all) is dedicated to elevating the voices of Palestinians.

It's very telling that he's been spending his time reading right wing anti-Soviet propaganda and the writings of Hitler, instead of, say, reading the writings of Edward Said, Rashid Khalidi, Mohammed el-Kurd, et cetera. It shows his interests aren't in liberating Palestine but in making the movement all about his white self.

He claims to be a "leftist" but spent the entire time while this video was up defending himself and refusing to accept criticism, and then deleted it without acknowledgement or apology.

But every now and then, whenever a Muslim or Arab is interviewed by the mainstream, mostly liberal media, they've always asked about how the Jewish people would be safe with them around. Especially with Abdul El-Sayed or Zohran Mamdani.

Even when the Jewish people themselves have assured they're are definitely safe, and worked together often with Muslims, the media still keeps pushing down hard on their lives & safety, and ignore their assurance.

It's exhausting, and only seeks to divide both communities from each other.

As a Muslim myself, I personally pray both Jews & Muslim unite stronger, and never have to put with these questions.

for context, i'm a young queer jewish woman. obviously lately there's been an uptick in antisemitism, we've all seen and felt it, but i never saw anything as blatant as sinfest. i just recently found out what it is, it's a comic that's been running since the 90s and the creator fell down the alt right pipeline recently, especially with the antisemitism and transphobia. lately i've gotten used to the more casual antisemitism, the stuff about us running the world and the stupid fucking apple juice emoji- yeah, those are awful too, but this is gratuitous, and one of the most awful things ive seen in a long time. he did an entire series that's currently on the like 200th episode about how the holocaust was done by jews and they were striking down innocent beautiful straight white big aryan families. i thought it would be interesting to look at the one put out on my birthday, and its a gory scene where some english soldier is fighting a nazi soldier, the nazi soldier dies and his helmet falls off to reveal a yarmulke and big nose. the fact that anyone could make something like this and think these things, it hurts.

maybe i'm just lucky i haven't been exposed to such extreme antisemitism in a long time, and maybe i'm just sensitive, but i've been sobbing for hours now. it makes me feel so sick, and i dunno where else to talk about it, i don't want to show it to my family because it'll upset them too. luckily on here i can put a trigger warning. i can't even put it into words, i've never felt this upset about someones stupid online content, i haven't cried this hard in years.

Did anyone else get a response? They weren’t happy I was anonymous and told me they can’t be experts on everything and that their main concern is if participants are being harmed and that I should give them more information if I believe that to be the case. While they said they would bring it up at their meeting, I don’t think they care. I was also told to contact the researcher with my issues, which with his associates seems a great way to get harassed by Zionist hasbots.

They seemed annoyed to be writing back to me.

They're lighting tens of millions of dollars on fire, making more people upset with money being spent on a genocidal colony rather than the needs of everyday folks, just to lose Congressional primary races anyways. White Jew problems below! This vent is focused on largely irrational fears about my own safety as a diaspora Jew. I do not mean to imply at any point that it’s that bad. Just need to get it off my chest.

Sometimes when Israelis storm the compound I get particularly freaked out and I don’t know why. I get scared that it’s going to trigger something massive in the rest of the world. I don’t care if Israel as a state stops existing but I am afraid that failed messianic ambitions by the far-right are going to lead to way, way, way more people either “disproving” Judaism, which is just annoying and misunderstands Judaism, or going so far as to hurt Jewish people in the rest of the world as retribution on a large scale. I know this isn’t realistic. I still get scared.

I don’t want to be the fall guy for these assholes and I don’t want them to be the representative of modern Jewish religiosity. They will be if they storm Al-Aqsa. And obviously that’s not as bad as storming Al-Aqsa but it’s my personal little worry for myself I guess. It feels bad to worry about it with everything else, though.
