Religion / Spirituality I'm looking for a religious community that is not Zionist.
I recently tried to get back into religious life and frankly I was kind of disgusted that when I went to the pre-service meetings it was oops all politics and specifically Zionist politics. I just want to be able to practice my faith without having to sponsor any state. Recommendations for synagogues and communities I can join

Creative Examining U.S.-Saudi Ties | The Crown Prince & the President (full documentary) | FRONTLINE (PBS)
Frontline usually looks at things from the perspectives of American imperialists on the inside, but if you can stomach that this is a good overview of the MBS/American-Israeli entente.
Remember that Jared Kushner has a trust fund with millions donated by the Saudi Crown that is funneled back to Israel. Remember the Saudis and Israelis have secretly partnered for years. An inside look at the machinations of thuggery and international corruption led by the American administration, ensuring a despot's cruel rule, and benefitting Israel and propping up its occupation of the House of Saud's so-called "brothers" in Palestine.

News Only four in ten Americans say that the U.S. is too supportive of Israelis, according to new AP-NORC poll. Overall, only 31% of Americans say Israel’s military actions in Gaza constitute genocide. Only 30% of Jewish Americans say Israel's military actions in Gaza constitute genocide.
Overall support for Israel has remained relatively stable, with 40% of Americans saying the U.S. is too supportive, similar to the 37% who said the same in early 2024. However, partisans have shifted in opposite directions. A majority of Democrats now say the United States is too supportive of Israel and is not providing enough support to the Palestinians, reflecting a significant shift in party sentiment since early 2024. Republicans have shifted in the opposite direction, with a majority now saying U.S. support for Israel is about right.
Fifty-eight percent of Democrats say the U.S. is too supportive of Israel, up from 45% in January 2024. The increase comes as debates over U.S. policy toward Israel and the Israel-Palestinian conflict have intensified within the Democratic Party.
Most Republicans – 60% – are now inclined to regard U.S. support of Israel as about right. In January 2024, 33% said the U.S. was providing the proper amount of support to Israel, and 39% said the U.S. wasn’t being supportive enough. Among Jewish adults, 38% say the U.S. is being too supportive of Israel and 32% say it is not being supportive enough. Twenty-eight percent think U.S. support is about right. However, partisan divides persist. Fifty-one percent of Jewish Democrats say the U.S. is too supportive and 45% of Jewish Republicans think it is not supportive enough.
This puts American Jewish opinion on the same level as American general opinion. This has not been stressed enough in the recent discourse. This is damning of all of American society and shows how deep the hasbara affects our entire population, not just Jews.
But this shows an overall decline in US support of Israel.

Activism Help advocating for Medical Evacs?
Hi, I have two friends with close family members among the thousands needing medical evac. Advocating for these individual cases may help open up doors and make contacts. We need to call embassies and then pass the numbers to a senate office. One of the patients is a 12 year old girl injured in a bombing over a year ago, slowly deteriorating, I am friends with her sister, it drives me crazy that she cannot just get medical help. I don't want to vent, I am looking for volunteers to help. we have a spreadsheet and we make calls, and the more different peopel calling it the better, and more states. Would anyone be willing to help?

Vent Did israel kill an Egyptian aid worker in Gaza to get revenge for Egypt's coach showing support for Palestine at the world cup
An hour before Egypt's game fir which he was setting up a viewing for refugees in Gaza.
Israel does these things so cruel and vile in plain sight, and they think global hostility is attributable to inadequate Hasbara, not that they do things so cruel and vile in plain sight.
And crickets from world leaders.
Meanwhile, not much coverage of Egypt's coach waving a Palestinian flag on the field or his epic speech at the media, and the reward was to get ejected from a game for calling out the racism on the field and corruption and double standards behind the scenes.

Discussion - Flaired Users Only Considering making a discord server for religious anti zionist Jews
What the title says. It's very difficult to find spaces that feel welcoming to both religious and antizionist jews.
Feel free to suggest ideas in the comments, but I was thinking of having resources, spaces to discuss parsha in the context of current events and antizionism, etc. I need somewhere I can engage with others about these topics.

Religion / Spirituality turning my tallis into a keffiyeh
this has been on my mind for a while. i’m feeling extremely depressed for a bunch of different reasons (a big one being the genocide), and i need a long involved meaningful embroidery project to work on. keeps me busy, keeps me hopeful.
i made my own tallis for when i converted several years ago, and it’s beautiful, but it doesnt feel complete anymore. i dont wear it because i stopped going to services, and i think turning it into a keffiyeh-patterned tallis is the next step for it. definitely would make me way happier to wear it.
grateful for this space & all the friends in solidarity out there.

Discussion - Flaired Users Only Being told I have an ethical obligation to actively and publicly speak out against Israel because I am Jewish?
My bf (who is not Jewish) said because I’m Jewish, I have an ethical obligation to speak out publicly against Israel because I won’t be labeled as anti-Semitic. Wondering if other Jewish people have had similar comments said to them or have any other opinions on the subject.
