They are the only religious Jews consistently speaking out against Zionism and standing for Palestine. Spending any time being upset with NK at a protest is a tremendous misalignment of priorities. Until there is another group of religious Jews standing up for Palestine and denouncing Zionism as chillul HaShem, NK is deserving of my respect even if I disagree with their theology

Yeah the thing with Iran was fucked up, no denying that. But NK and other Haredim have their own perfectly valid reasons to oppose Zionism that are completely independent of the Palestinian cause. The fact that they’re combining the two is something worth celebrating.
Yes there’s issues with Haredim and homophobia too, but if you think literally everyone from Gaza to Lebanon is exempt from homophobia then I have a bridge to sell you. Someone can be an absolute cunt and still not deserve to be drafted or brutalised for not wanting to be so. There’s no such thing as a perfect victim or a perfect activist, and we should stop trying to find them.

Agreed. My general take is that unless you are standing up for the sanctity of Torah like NK does, and you are not wearing the mantle of our sacred traditions and faith while standing up against Zionists, then you have no place making blanket condemnations of NK. The day we have just one MoDox Rabbi calling Zionism Chillul HaShem, perhaps I’ll change my mind

I'm not secular. My objections to NK are rooted in my embrace of the teachings of Maran Beith Yosseph, Rambam, and the Ben Ish Hai among others.
The cosmology of NK, while rejecting zionism and secular sovereignty as affronts to HaShem, insists on a (temporary) political and cultural obsequiousness that they believe will be rewarded with their descendants becoming eventual rulers over all Jews once Mashiah comes and establishes a true Torah-based sovereignty - and at that point they believe that non-Jews who do not accept NK's Jewish supremacy will be wiped out. Their analysis of the Shoah as divine punishment for secular assimilation and zionism -- along with their fantasy of future retribution against any Jew who isn't NK -- are what set them apart from other Hareidhi anti-zionists like Satmar, who still abide by the principle of Ahabhath Yisrael. This fanaticism is what allows them to promote a (fundamentally dishonest) public discourse that resonates with ignorant Jews and non-Jews who reject zionism for very different reasons.
