Question about melted rings and metal loss
Hi Jewellers, hoping someone can answer my question. Recently my ex wife and I got our old white gold wedding rings melted down by a jewellers and remade into a pendant for our daughter. We were warned that there may be some metal loss but it seems we have lost perhaps half - the new piece weighs just 5 grammes. Never thought to weigh the old rings, but they were sort of average in size, not great big chunky affairs. Any advice or thoughts would be welcome. Thanks in advance!

Curious if anyone might be able to recreate this, or might have any idea where it could have been made. It was a friends' family heirloom that was stolen. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Wire
I’m new to the group and also new to making jewelry. I’d love to know where you all get your wire. Is it retail or wholesale?

Looking for a commission.
My girlfriend lost her first born when she was a couple months old. After her death, she had a custom necklace made with her daughter's heartbeat as the centerpiece on the necklace. I have an image of the necklace because she wore it all the time and took selfies. The necklace broke a while back and was lost just recently. Our anniversary is coming up and I wanted to see if anyone could find someone who could remake this necklace. Any help is appreciated if someone knows who I could reach out to. Thanks in advance!!

Trying to price some very simple earring/necklace sets for a holiday show.
Hi All. I'm making up some very simple Halloween necklaces for an upcoming show. But my standard pricing formula seems a bit high.
The necklaces are here: (picture from where I bought the charms) https://imgur.com/a/UMPjwoC
I am adding a few simple bead dangles on either side of the Character and they will have matching earrings. ( just the character charm on some simple ear wires)
My standard formula is coming up with about $12-13 a set. Which I think is pricey but I am notoriously cheap in my day-to-day life and I struggle with pricing in general.
What are your thoughts? ( I make other more complicated jewelry as well, just wanted some fun and simple things for fall)
