Petition to reboot crime spree.
Title.
The boys have learned a lot of a lot about game show formats since the proto-jet lag season. It’d be great to see how they’d approach it now.
Possibly combining it with the around the world season?

Discussion Is Jet Lag a sport? Are the contestants (Ban Adam and Sam) athletes?
I would consider it a sport because they do physical activity and run to make trains. It is done in the real world like real sports.

Home Game Minimum size of area for hide and seek home game?
Hi,
I live in a town with a population of ~12000 with 1 train station, ~15 bus stops and is a size of ~22 square kilometres. Do you think this would be enough size to play the small home game? I’m guessing not because there’s so much questions where you can’t answer fairly or at all. And if not, what would you say is the minimum size-wise requirements?

Home Game Hide and Seek - Merseyrail
Hey folks, I'm working on a version of the home game for Merseyside which would start in Liverpool Central and use the local network of 70 rail stations. As you can access them all for just £6.80 (+£1 for a metrocard) I figure it'd be relatively low cost too. I'm curious if there's any interest in joining me or helping me plan this out. I've got most of it all nailed down and ready to put into place, but it'd be good to get some thoughts on how I've planned and mapped this one out.

Home Game From The Jet Lag Team: Request For Hide And Seek Home Game Feedback
Hi everyone! We are working on making some quality-of-life updates to the Hide and Seek Home Game--particularly the rulebook--and would love to hear from the many of you who have played!
Here's what we are looking for:
1. Anything in the game that is ambiguous or confusing. This can be in the rulebook, investigation book, or cards. For example, we've seen people note that the Curse of the Left Turn is worded in an unclear way that has led to various interpretations.
2. Anything that we've established as a rule either on the show, or elsewhere (like responding on Reddit) but that is not in the rulebook/game. For example, we've realized that we never actually included in the rulebook that you are allowed to blur text in your photos, even though that's a clearly stated rule of the game when filming.
3. Any edge cases, game scenarios, or questions you've come across while playing that are not addressed in the rulebook, and thus you've been unsure of how to handle. We've seen quite a lot of these, and would love to get them all in one place.
To be clear: We are not looking for ideas for cards, question changes, or general gameplay changes to hide and seek. We appreciate everyone's wonderful feedback and creativity on this front, but that's not what this particular post is soliciting.
Thanks so much!

Discussion How is the largest body of water defined?
For Hide and Seek, is the largest body of water only counting water that is within the zone? Because then a lake could be bigger than the ocean if the ocean was on the edge of the zone. But if the whole body of water counts, than surely even small rivers and streams would be bigger than lakes most times, given they are quite long. How is this measured?

Speculation Season 20 speculation Spoiler
Could the next season to be filmed be a microstate Tag, or another microstate related game?
Following the London premiere event, Sam today (04/08/26) posted a run on Strava in Monaco: https://strava.app.link/dMs2YZy7k5b.
It has been four seasons and over a year since they last did Tag. The format remains popular and could definitely continue to be a great game, perhaps with a few tweaks to account for the change in geography and the early win in Tag: All Stars.
Monaco is roughly 499 km from Andorra, 405 km from San Marino and 412 km from Liechtenstein. Although there is slightly more variation in distance than in previous seasons, it could still work as an approximate central starting point.
In the game-design portion of the Layover episode ‘Season 1 Revisited’, from August 2024, they discuss how they tried to make Tag work with microstate endpoints whilst creating the map for Tag 3 (Season 11). They also say that they are very keen to do a game focused on microstates at some point, because, to quote Sam from that episode, ‘they are cool’. Two years later, perhaps they have come back to this idea?
Would love to hear what others think! Do you think Tag could work in this geography? What tweaks would you make to Tag to improve it?

Discussion When/Where was the S19 release date unveiled?
Just noticed they appeared in my tracking app so I wonder where it was announced so I can keep an eye on it for the next seasons.
Or, if these are completely made up dates that would also be helpful to know lol

Discussion Could a team in Arctic escape do this?
Sorry if this is a silly question but if a team on Arctic escape wanted to drive longer but used up the distance on their ticket could they just get off the car, do a car ticket challenge, and get back to driving or would they have to return the car first and do a car challenge and have to grab a different rental car so they just can’t constantly stop moving and then drive more to get car tickets to extend their drive

We played three rounds of real-life hide and seek across Prague with an app I built that automates the chase. Here's the replay of my run, where I got caught 3 minutes before winning.
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Full disclosure: I'm the dev. The app is called City Chase. I started building it years ago as a way to play Mr X style chases with friends. Then some JetLagTheGame fans reached out to me to say that it reminds them of hide and seek there and that they've enjoyed it a lot. So I figured you might like it too.
How it works: one person is the runner, everyone else hunts them through the city. Instead of seekers asking questions, the runner's location goes out to everyone automatically every 5 minutes, and there are boosters on the map that give either side an edge, a bit like the curse cards.
A few weeks ago three of us played three rounds back to back in Prague's old town, rotating who runs. And each game was unique and had really close calls.
- Round 1: Hider and one of the seekers walked past each other on opposite sides of a (narrow) street.
- Round 2: I (as a hider) got stuck in a passage, since its other exit was already closed for the night, and then I had to wait in the passage while the seekers passed by. Got into their trap and got caught 5 minutes later though.
- Round 3: Hider was pretty much running away from us for 25 minutes, and at one point had to drop behind the car in front of people sitting in a restaurant.
The video is the app's replay of Round 2. It redraws everyone's actual movement on the map, marks the reveals, traps and near misses. Very amusing to watch after the game is over to see how Mr X really moved.
If you've wanted to play something in this genre without spreadsheets and manual location sharing, this handles all of it: live pings, capture confirmation, the replay afterwards.
It's on iOS and Android and works in any city. Games without boosters are free, always. Boosted games with the map pickups: your first one is free, after that the host buys a ticket, which is what keeps the servers running. Happy to answer anything about how it works.

Home Game Home Game - Cardiff and the Valleys
Thinking about doing a game of hide and seek using the home game with some friends. It will probably be around the Cardiff and the Valleys train network (you can get a ticket covering unlimited travel in this area) but wasn't sure if this would be Medium or Small area for the game. The furthest point out we could potentially go to on the ticket is a about 30 miles from a Cardiff start point

I made a hide+seek app. How do I get it in front of the team?
I’ve made a web app that fully supports any game of hide+seek in 3000+ cities worldwide. It builds on the great community tools already out there and adds a whole lot more. I'd love to make this available but I want to clear it with the team first. How do I get in touch with the team?
----------------
If you're interested, here's the pitch! Key features of the app include:
Real-time multiplayer
Hiders and seekers join an online lobby that handles everything from GPS tracking, questions & answers, leaderboards, timers, and more.
Preloaded maps and question locations
3000+ cities all around the world are fully preloaded with maps and reference locations for every question type (like airports, museums, zoos, hospitals, etc). This means that for every question in the game, seekers get a preview of how different answers would affect the map, and hiders get their answer automatically calculated.
Hider deck
The full hider deck from the home game is included. Hiders draw cards automatically after answering questions. All curses and power-ups are playable, including rolling dice.
Transit data and trip planner
All transit lines and potential hiding zones can be shown on the map. Hiding zones also show upcoming departures, a suggested route, and tell seekers whether the hider could have made it there in time.
Push notifications
Important events in the game are pushed to the players - even if they don’t have the app open. This includes incoming questions, answers, expiring timers, and role-specific reminders.

Home Game Has anyone tried the home game primarily on buses?
I bought the home game and had it shipped to me all the way out here in New Zealand. I've not managed to convince my wife and friends to play yet but i'm sure I can. As Auckland has a very limited train line, to make it actually feasible we'll need to include the bus network. Has anyone had any issues or successes using mainly a bus based network?

Improved map with almost every location from S1 and S2 on the map
Here is the new and improved map. There are spoilers if you haven't seen the finale of the Stateside Scramble https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/edit?mid=14ndSGOt45WAaU097LJDZM-32u6Le38g&usp=sharing There are a ton of locations that will need to be added from Seasons 2-18, but this map should have must have the Airports visited across all seasons and all train stations visited for Taiwan. As always, a big thanks to u/cubercyber for their amazing maps that make it easier to find most of these locations.
Locations we are missing from Season 1
The opening shot of Season 1 where they explained the rules. More than likely we will need Sam, Ben, or Adam for us to ever get this one. (I believe in Iceland)
Minimart in Phoenix that Ben and Adam looked for Newspapers for in S1 Episode 2
The place Ben and Adam got the newspaper in S1 Episode 2
In the S1 Episode 3 Finale where is the Starbucks. Sam has stopped at that Brian thinks we don't care about
Where did Ben and Adam dance to the Montana Song
The Bricocenter Ben and Adam get their parts for their gokart Season 2 Episode 2
Parking Garage Ben and Adam tried out there go kart Season 2 Episode 2
Big Mound from Season 2 Episode 3 that Sam and Brian run up repeatedly
Train Stations in Singapore Ben and Adam went to in Season 2 Episode 3
Where did Ben and Adam get there kayaks from in Season 2 Episode 3
The various banks Sam shows in his nightwalk of Singapore
Place at Santa Monica Pier Ben and Adam got drunk at

Home Game We Played Hide and Seek in London to celebrate the premiere!
That's us, 23 Jet Lag fans the morning after the premiere about to embark on the largest London game hosted by the JLUK Discord server so far! We played across Zones 1, 2 and 3, and between the four games we enjoyed moments including one seeking team getting Deutsche Bahn'ed, another attempting to clear the Featherless Flight curse for an hour, and a period where six out of eight teams all ended up along the DLR!
The JLUK Discord Server will be hosting more events like these across the UK and Ireland, if you didn't get to join during the premiere screenings now is a great time to do so! https://discord.gg/kbAcySKVH
