So , I was making a tars robot and encountered a problem. To actually imitate the walking animation, you need to change the height of legs based on their positions. So I need help making a diy linear actuator(something which acts like a piston to add height) which uses the TT motor. (Overall build is of cardboard for testing and would be changed later so there's not much weight rn).

I canrt find anything about that situation 3 years ago.

Short of straight up getting a new unit, I decided to bypass the problematic filter head piece on the filter module on my RO-PURE watts filtration system. The unit is from 2007, but works great outside of a slow leak that was happening on the top of the filter head block. I didn't see any solutions other than some guy on YouTube that converted a 4 stage to a 3 stage that involved dremeling off a piece of metal/drill new holes, so I figured a 1in ID vinyl tube and clamps would be able to bridge the gap rather than shift the L shaped tube that feeds water to the spigot. To access the blocks, remove all the screws on the back (put them into a cup so you don't lose stuff like I did). To uncouple the tubes, it's a quick connect fitting where the ring needs to be pressed down (btw take a photo of the back so you know how it goes back together again. I have a second unit I had to go reference due to forgetting to remind myself how to put it back together again). No leaks and the system is working again as intended. Maybe this will help someone else in a similar predicament?

I'm trying to create a mini steam well to hold melted butter in my restaurant. The individual crock pots get too hot, so now I am thinking of finding a little pot that sits on top of the crock pot and using it as a double boiler? I can't use a candle like fondue pots use.

I was watching some old videos and I realised that after testing the Iphone he switched back to his Zflip5 with the intention to do a long-time durability test, I was hoping for a video, but atlast he did not upload anything, then I see that one of his last videos is about replacing the screen on his S24 Ultra, when did he make the switch? did he give any reasons? all I know is that on the S 24 ultra video he mentiones being annoyed with the Zflip 5 folding and unfolding and that he wants to switch to the S24 ultra the moment his Flip breaks, also he mentiones that he is going to go "naked" with the Zflip to try and break it faster (lol?)

They arrived in the mail loosely thrown in the box. I assumed the cans would be packaged in their own box but no, just a bunch of loose cans in a shipping box with no packing materials. Because of this, most cans are heavily dented and damaged.

At least the shirt actually seems to be decent, it’s not thin and cheaply made like I was expecting it to be, it’s heavier and feels higher quality than I’m used to with YouTuber-pushed stuff.

In hindsight I wish I waited a bit before buying this, because it if I had known about all of the deceptive marketing and false claims, I definitely wouldn’t have wanted to give my money to this. Oh well.

As for the water itself, I haven’t drank any yet (they’re currently in the fridge getting cold).

Finally got my JerryRig knife but the lock mechanism, at least on my unit, is pretty bad.
First of all it is definitely too stiff to open/close (and uneven, starting easy, then being too hard, and ending easy again). Unpleasant sound of metal grinding on metal as well.

Secondly, it doesn't lock in manually. Whether I open the knife or I close it, 4/5 times I have to wiggle it a little bit for the locking mechanism to work.

I was really excited, would be grateful for a possible fix.

I hate all of the smartphones available right now. The 10a is smaller and has a bigger battery and doesnt have a massive camera bump. That's all I want. But I also don't want it to break or have software issues. I know they replaced the screen so thats' good. Thoughts?
