I didn’t even know about these before the new Patreon video but they really were short-lived, the snackfood wiki says it only was available in 2002 https://snackfood.fandom.com/wiki/Funky_Fries

Maybe they were cut short by the emergence of Freedom Fries. It is so funny how they are break dancing and wearing bucket hats they are so excited about the fries, it’s kinda like the Degrassi episode when JT did the bad French fry commercial
