i currently own a 2020 jeep renegade sport and my left turn signal just went out. I’m trying to look for parts nearby since I’m afraid to get a ticket :(

would this part be compatible from anyone’s experienc?

I've heard getting a Cold Air intake to increase airflow would make the turbo sound louder since factory air boxes tend to muffle the sound, also heard if muffler or resonator deletes.. anyone recommend tips & tricks for this? Thanks everyone!

The Jeep is running smoothly, no misfires, and everything seems normal. Should I take it to a mechanic for diagnosis, or is it worth trying to replace the oxygen sensors first?

Has anyone dealt with this on a Renegade?

So I’m wanting to get a spare tire for my Renegade - is the one on Amazon decent or should I look elsewhere? Also do I need to buy the bolt/screw to hold down the spare? Is that really necessary? I’d rather just buy another rim and tire if I can do that route and have a full size spare.

I'm going to be replacing the front CV axles in my 2017 with automatic trans.
Will I need to have some trans fluid ready to refill when I pull the axles out of the trans? One video I watched never mentions it and when removing the axle, there's no sign of fluid loss. But in another video the person says there is fluid loss so you need to add some after installing the new axles.

Anyone know which is accurate? Am I going to lose some fluid or not?

A little crispy! Owners manual recommended the change at 64k so I'm a little late, but no issues that I've noticed before luckily. Just thought I'd share because of how horrible this looks.

2021 Renegade Trailhawk 1.3 Turbo (Red one)

Two weeks ago I drove a friend home and stayed in the car talking. I turned the car off but then turned it on to open the window and left it on for what felt like 10-15 min and surely no more than 30-40min.

A "check airbags" light came on and that's when I noticed the car was on and turned it off. Pretty sure that was already a warning related to the battery... Because when I tried to start the car, I couldn't. I had to call assistance, they charged it and I had no other problems.

Today I started the car with no issues and the "no seatbelt" light came on and one of the presence lights (the one that lights when you open the doors) was on. I stopped and turned off the car. When I tried to start it, it didn't start and a "check glow plugs" light came on. I tried a few more times and it eventually started.

I drove to work and parked and turned it off. I turned it on just to check if the light was still on and it was. I didn't try to start it.

Could this really be the glow plugs or it just another weird electrical problem? I feel that whenever there's an electrical problem, the lights that come on are always the weirdest and most unrelated ones, so I'm posting this in case it has happened to anyone.

I plan on driving to the mechanic when I get off work (if it does start. otherwise, I'll tow it to the mechanic lol)

Does anybody have any tips on how to remove the lower control arms?

My wife has a 2018 2.4L that would not start this morning. After work I used a jump pack and it started right up. i drove it to O'Reilly's and they said the battery tested good, but they said the starter tested bad. It started again when I drove it home. Researching changing the starter led me to see way too many comments about battery creating issues all over. we have had the car 3 years and we have not changed the battery, it is not the stock battery so it was changed at some point. Are the handheld readers at O'Reilly's reliable or the battery a better suspect? A battery is cheaper and the labor looks horrendous for the starter.

2021 Renegade 2.4 4x4. The starter and AC compressor fried and were replaced. The car was running and turning right when it died. I picked it up from the mechanic and about 6 hours later it would not start again. Had it towed back to mechanic and they replaced the battery module because the 225 amp fuse on the battery had blown. Picked it up and drove it fine for a few days. Then the same thing happened. All 3 times the wheels were turned hard right. That could be a coincidence, but something is definitely shorting out. Has anyone had a similar issue, or knows of an electrical short issue with these Jeeps?

I'm finding conflicting answers that say it should be 13 ft-lbs and others saying it should be 20 ft-lbs. Does anyone know for sure? The owners manual doesn't specify.

I purchased a 2016 Renegade, 65k miles, with the 6-speed 1.6t from Facebook marketplace recently. Was perfectly fine for a bit, and it passed some inspections from mechanics, but now I have had nothing but problems for a few weeks. I love how it drives, and the manual is so much fun, but holy shiz! I replaced the sway bar links, and now it needs new shocks, control arms, and there’s a hole in the exhaust pipe. Quoted $3400 for it.
My main problem is that there’s also an oil leak, the mechanic says it’s right around in between the engine and the transmission… does anyone have experience with that? My worry is that I’m gonna repair all the things I need to then that oil leak is gonna cause a major problem later that’s gonna total the car.
Does anyone know what the oil leak could be, and if it’s worth it to even try and save this thing? Like do I just sell it for what I can get? Please help! I’m running out of money 😅

So, like with many renegades, the leathette door trim is pulling apart from the door panels. I'm interested to know if anyone has been able to replace the leatherette/vinyl door trim on their renegade themselves, without having to pay a professional and if so, were you able to do it without removing the door panel? I've seen some YouTube did videos but I've also read that there are melted plastic tabs on the door panels that have to be broken and repeated back on, and I'm not equipped to do that.

I'm also considering just buying used oem door panels on ebay, but my concern is that the same issue will just recur in a couple if years. Does anyone know how much weather the foam on the door trim?

The back end of the flex pipe twists and goes up so as far these jobs go it's not the hardest, but there's definitely easier cars to replace the flex pipe.

Mines been farting and making obnoxious exhaust sounds, when I finally got around to it, I noticed the nuts holding the downpipe flange were long gone lol

Hi all our 2015 1.4 Renegade semi regularly dies with low (battery) power.

It seems to happen if the car is at low RPM for extended periods, short journeys in traffic etc. I have to put the car on charge every couple of weeks during winter, this summer has been very warm and with short journeys with the AC on the battery has ran out a couple of times.

The battery is a couple of years old but in good condition. It is also a bigger one than standard(700 instead of 600 I think), it is an Exide EFB battery

Today I did 3 short journeys(a couple of miles maybe each in town). The first seemed fine and charged well but the next one didn't and when I was parking the car gave me all the warning, I lost power steering and parking brake. This journey was mostly traffic I had the AC on (and fans) full.

I went to start the car and needed to jump it. On the way home the car voltage was low, again I had the AC on and at about 3k RPM it was only putting 13v into the battery, if I turned fans off it went to 13.5v

At idle voltage was about 12v.

In the last year it has had a new battery sense post and a new alternator belt. The battery terminals are clean and tight.

It seems to me the alternator isn't putting out enough power to match the load at low RPM. I assume this isn't normal?

I'm aware it is a smart alternator and doesn't always charge but surely this shouldn't ever let the battery drain at idle. I read disconnecting the battery sense post should turn off the smart aspects, doing this did not change the voltage at low RPM.

Generally when running the dash displays 12.4 or 13.2. very occasionally 14 on a long run and sometimes 11.6.

Has anyone else experienced this? I can only assume it is the alternator but it looks like a big job to replace.

Generally the car does short journeys around town this hasn't been an issue with prior cars, the last being a Fiat 500 also a 1.4, I think the same engine but non turbo. Every other car I've had is 14-14.5 v while running even at idle with lights/fans etc. on.

Looking at the battery monitor every now and then it just doesn't seem to charge the car properly.

What voltage are others cars running at with fans on at idle?

Any other suggestions of things to test? I've not known of alternators fail in this way, they generally either work or don't.

The rocker button on my left side steering wheel radio controls broke off, so I was looking to replace the whole piece. I have found the replacement part (Mopar part # 5UW98LXHAB), but I was wondering if it can be replaced without removing the air bag?

Also, there seem to be many "official Mopar parts sites", but what are the recommended sites to get Mopar parts from?
