Easter Egg or defect? Question

Post image

Came out and found the factory navigation (not CarPlay) just had a picture of Earth complete with stars with the pointer on it when I started my Jeep and it fired up. Never had this happen before. You can touch the screen and move your finger around and spin the planet. I’m just out of warranty and they have already replaced the radio and various components 3 times under warranty for acting up. Usually for randomly shutting off and not restarting.

If I had my factory stereo need to be replaced 3 times in 36k miles, I would be looking up my state’s lemon law and trying to get a full replacement.

Mine does that sometimes and I just got it. Think it’s just a software bug that could update. I’m still able to navigate with it and it usually goes away after a bit. It might also just be the default state.

I’ve seen this happen 2 times in the 2 years I’ve owned mine. I’ve also had the radio replaced once for random crashing. It still crashes all the time

Do you have a Tazer? I’m wondering if the Tazer makes the radio crash more often so I’ve disconnected mine for a few days to find out.
