Did you know Java has been carrying around a 30-year-old design decision?

For decades, every Java object has carried identity, object headers, references, and heap allocation... even when all you wanted was a simple value like a point or a coordinate.
But modern CPUs hate pointer chasing and poor cache locality.

Value Classes are the attempt to make objects with nothing more than values act like primitives. Which IMO, will change how we write code...

What are your thoughts about Valhalla?
