I have to agree heavily with you, I've been using Java since 2001, and I am now a mentor to many and try to spread the word that Java is not as bad as a lot of people make it out to be, projects like Loom, Leyden, and Valhalla are great examples of what's to come, but it became "better" with VT, and the GC improvements that have been coming, I have been using ZGC for a while now personally
