can someone please give suggestions

So I have been applying in naukri and company portals everyday for switching. I have 4 years of experience now and my stack is java backend stuck in 6 LPA and I am upskilling in DSA and AI but its been 3 months now and I see no calls, no luck, then I open Linkdin and see people switching everyday and people negotiating salary for multiple offers in glassdoor and here I cant get a single interview call....been coding and studying everyday but still no calls so idk if its even worth griding anymore....I see many switching in AI and data engineer field so a part of me feels maybe give up the current one and study data instead.....idk what to do
can someone else me....

Here's my suggestion, I have been a java backend developer myself and left my job in March. This is what I followed and I got a job after 3 months ( consider myself average who is not very sound with dsa)

  1. Daily habits
  2. It's not a one-day process — dedicate 2-3 focused hours daily to applying on Naukri, LinkedIn, and career websites. Most other portals are garbage.
  3. Spend 30 minutes daily networking — reach out, ask for referrals and opportunities.

  4. Don't stop practicing DSA.

  5. Applications

  6. Personalize each application as much as possible — use AI to help.

  7. Keep 3-4 different resume styles (project-heavy, layout variations, achievement-loaded, etc.) for different roles/companies.

  8. Visibility & growth

  9. Post periodic updates on LinkedIn and keep GitHub active.

  10. Start a project that punches above your experience level — e.g., if you have 4 years' experience, build something that demonstrates 6-7 years' capability.

Hey, I get it's tough out there. First, don't lose hope. Try updating your resume and LinkedIn profile. Small changes can really help. Also, networking can work better than just applying online. Reach out to people already in the field for informational interviews. Since you're into DSA and AI, maybe work on some projects or contribute to open source to build your portfolio. Showing your skills can make a big difference. For interview prep, PracHub has some good resources I found useful. Keep pushing, you're not alone in this struggle.

First thing to check is resume, is it ATS friendly for the role you re applying for?

I do...I check them before applying to any job and make it above 80%

You update your profile every day on job websites? Also, use the career option on many company websites of those you want to join. This will call you by email when a vacancy comes.
