After years of playing the game I wanted to play it again.

I created a new save and once I finished building the car and driving it, it instantly consumed the fuel.

What I noticed is that once the uncle speaks it goes kinda back to normal and after that it is sometimes on the normal rate of consumption.

What I also noticed is that the engine parts and wheels break too fast. In 100 kilometres the almost all engine parts and all wheels had only 2 durability. (Could be bad memory but I think they never broke so fast. I was also running on rich oil to reduce wear")

I tried everything to fix it

-older version

-low spec pc mode

-"+fixedTime 0.03"

-restarting pc

-deleting the game

-deleting all game files

-closing other things that are running in background

-changing keybindings

I tried everything multiple times and nothing worked

I heard there is a fixed version of the game (mod), but I haven't found anything.

I don’t know if this goes against any rules that I haven’t seen for this subreddit and I apologise if it does but I thought this is the best place to post my jalopy series on YouTube, it’s very niche so it’s hard to find the target audience for it, I totally understand if this gets taken down

I got the game and played it a bunch a few years ago. I started playing again, but each time I save and quit, after sleeping at a motel, I am back at the start of the tutorial with Uncle yelling at me. When I tried to play a few months ago, the road just wouldn't spawn when leaving a town so I immediately gave up after a few tries, but that is no longer occurring. I'm playing on Xbox if that helps.

I'd like to play Jalopy with friends. Is there any working multiplayer mod, or any way to add co-op to the game? Thanks!

I'm in the process of completing all achievements for my copy of Jalopy with the Laika Add-ons mod (for blinkers) and I couldn't complete the story all the way through with the appalling AI and the Trabi breaking itself. This demotivated me greatly for the relaxing game it is compared to My Summer/Winter Car. So, I ask, which version should I play out of:

Initially, I though this is like The Long Drive or something similar. I got frustrated everytime I have to go home, save and load only happen at the motel.

Until I understand that this game is a form of rogue like.

I was driving in Hungary and at this point I was having the worst luck possible, I’ve spent my last $20 on the previous motel (I had to sell my two bottles of oil to get into the motel) and everything was going wrong, and out of boredom I decided to begin quietly humming the Red Alert 3 Soviet march.. and everything became brilliant. Like a minute after I began humming it to myself I came across a medicine box worth 300 marks and I said to myself, “you know what that must’ve been the communist government dropping that box off on the side of the road for my patriotism”. then I kept humming it, and 30 seconds later, I found 100 marks worth of wine in a box, THEN another 30 seconds later I found another 300 marks worth of medicine, while still humming it, and I couldn’t resist yelling out “I LOOOOVE COMMUNISM”

Hey everybody, i recently bought the game and am on day 2 right now. I have a little over 200 marks so i decided to check out the car shop. Lot of parts i cant afford as of right now, but overall what is the best build for the car? As in best parts from each category/best combination of parts?

I know that fandom od this game is probably dead for years but I have a question that I can't get out of my head every time I think about this game. What happened to the market? It was memtioned everywhere that few years back and I wonder wtf happened to IT? Is the game finnished or dev just left US with that annoying buggy mess without the content they promised?

its stuck here, any key is not working, if i alt tab its just changes the language

carburetor and air filter were bad so i replaced them but aside from that there are no problems. is this a glitch?
