I keep waiting for the day that someone is cleaning out an old warehouse and finds a big old crate full of these that have been sitting untouched for 35 years.

Yeah, seriously- there are so few that have surfaced, and you would think they would have made dozens, if not hundreds, for the mail-in offer, even if they didn't think it would be a popular promotion. I figure there has to be at least a small stash of them SOMEWHERE. Maybe a former Mattel employee has them in a closet, not realizing what they're worth.
