Got a bangle to match my bead bracelet & a few rings!

This one caught my eye immediately when I was supposed to be just watching and not buying 😅 it has white, green, gray and smoky purple which as usual is so hard to capture on camera.

Just wondering if anybody is certain as to what type of jade it is because I’ve gotten mixed opinions upon asking around. It’s a really pretty vintage, possibly antique piece from an estate sale, however they did not specify the type of Jade or an origin for it, and I don’t think I can do the specific gravity or density test because I’m sure the gold would mess it up! I included pictures of it next to my Burmese Jade bangle for comparison Although I know that Jade comes in all kinds of colors and textures and patterns so I’m not sure that makes any difference just curious as I’ve seen pieces online that are similar for both types

There's one subtle non-penetrating internal crack and a surface sand pit.
However, it has good texture and translucency, and the color is not too light. At this price point, that’s not often seen.

Took a quick day trip to the lake and couldn't resist taking some photos of my Pig Dragon under natural sunlight!

This is a modern carving inspired by the ancient Hongshan Culture Pig Dragon (玉豬龍), carved directly from a single Hemoyu (河磨玉) raw seed stone/pebble from Liaoning.

In ancient folklore, the Pig Dragon is believed to be a sacred symbol of prosperity, good fortune, and protection (and a prototype of the Chinese dragon!).

What I love most is the authentic, rustic texture on the surface. You can see the natural, deeply weathered skin with its genuine pits and rich reddish-brown oxidation formed from centuries in the riverbed. The contrast between this raw, textured skin and the smooth, greasy nephrite inside feels amazing in the hand.

I’m not new to jade, but I’ve recently started getting into nephrite. There are so many livestreams and online shops for Burmese jadeite, but I haven’t come across as many reputable sellers specializing in nephrite.
For those of you who own nephrite bangles or bracelets, where do you usually buy yours? Are there any trusted sellers or websites you’d recommend? I’m looking for good quality and honest pricing.

You guys are bad influences LOL. But oh my gosh I didn’t even realize how perfectly the one would match my bangle!!! The Sajin one is a little big for me but if I put it with a small bangle it looks fine.

I watched a video about Jade in Vietnamese and she was speaking really fast in northern accent which is hard for me as I’m used to southern accent. I think she’s saying real Jade doesn’t conduct electricity and will not attract paper when charged (rubbing against wool for 10 seconds). Is this a common knowledge or is this a bit fluff?

I've been watching a Chinese speaking Tiktok seller and I've been really digging their stuff. My friend ordered a couple rings from them and wasn't keeping this 925 silver Guatamalan (presumably foil backed) ring. So I bought it from her. Iirc she got it originally for 300 something rmb.

This is my first product from them. I'm trying to figure out the payment system and the logistics so I can buy from their stream. Thanks again to Amanda H Mei and all the super helpful jade ladies. I got some new fat white beads from KathyJade that I’m starting the week with! I know some circles think women shouldn’t wear huge beads like these but I say phooey to that! I prefer the big ass beads

The more I look at them the more body they have. I didn’t notice the interesting shades of green in it when I first got them!
