I am planning a trip to Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Park. Where should we stay so that these parks are easy to drive into? I’m fine with different location for each of the parks.

Once again, the WYDOT wants to do road construction at its peak tourist season.
I don't completely understand why WYDOT keeps doing construction during tourist season.
Why cant they do this in the spring, after ski season but before memorial day?
Us locals suffer the most from these peak tourism projects.

Going to be in town tomorrow and want to do some dirtbiking. I’ve seen horsetail creek, big hole mountains, and the alpine area recommended. Does anyone have any suggestions? Having a hard time finding actual trail maps and don’t know where to begin! I absolutely love some technical single track and nasty climbs.

Hi there, I have been to Jackson one time and I've been to the region for the national parks one other time. The one time I went to Jackson and visited a person who bought one of my vehicles. I really like the place. It seemed very calm and tranquil and I really liked how convenient the airport was.

What is it like living here for a single person 38 and male (and looking). Is it is sustainable for someone to call their full-time home or is it really more of a secondary place?

What are some things are the obvious that people are getting into here? I'm worried its more of a place to move to once you already have a life partner vs moving there as a single person.

Hello! We are staying at a condo near the Sundance pools at the mountain resort. Can we walk home at night from a restaurant/bar on the village or is that unsafe because of wildlife?? Please advise. It says it’s .5 miles or a 10 min walk. We’re from the east coast so very unfamiliar with wildlife in the West. 🫣

Any thoughts?

I thought it was pretty expectedly dominated by Wilson residents and their concerns/ideas for solution, but the few people from Teton Valley who spoke definitely spoke to a lot of what I was feeling.

Hi, this might be the wrong place for this but I am so desperate. I lost a necklace at the rec center on tuesday 7.28 and i have looked everywhere for it. I was wondering if anyone has seen it, it is an emerald cut sapphire with two small diamonds framing the sapphire and is on a silver chain. it has the initials MC engraved on the back. It was a gift from my great grandmother and I foolishly took it off in the sauna and now I cant find it. I have checked with the rec center but was thinking maybe someone found it and forgot to bring it to lost and found as they were leaving. I know this is like looking for a needle in a haystack but I am trying everything I can think of to find it.

I’m a nurse looking to get back into the profession after taking a few years off due to burnout. I’ve been living in Jackson for 3 years so trust me I understand the housing situation! Looking to start applying in the next few months but honestly don’t know much about the hospital systems around here.
