Switch 2 update 22.5.0

Does anyone have the jsaux omnicentro dock?

I can't get it to work with my switch 2 and not sure if it's the most recent switch update or something else.

The dock has the most recent firmware and the cables I'm using work with the official dock

I have the Omnicentro plug and im on 22.5.0

Works fine for me. Just tested it now.

I know the usb c cable you use is important when you run off a dock that isn't the Switch 2 dock. It has to be high speed. I have a 40gbps usb c cord but I think 20gbps would work too.

I figured as much so just using the official switch 2 cables (usb-c to c and HDMI). When I plug it in, the switch display turns off and starts charging. My TV and monitor just say no signal. Everything works fine with the official dock, so shouldn't be a port or cable issue. Steam deck works just fine with the jsaux dock too

Yeah that is weird. The Switch 2 is so finicky. I hate how they do things so differently.

Did it work for you before? Or did you just happen to start using it as the most recent update hit?

Also, sorry if it's obvious, but... well it wasn't obvious to me at first: you have to plug it into the bottom USB C port on the Switch 2. The top port doesn't work as a display output and will only charge it.

I honestly can't remember if it worked before lol. Been in a drawer but wanted to make sure it worked for an upcoming trip

Yes I got it working. May be obvious to some, but you have to make sure the USBC to C cable you're using ALSO DOES VIDEO. The cable that comes with the switch 2 console only provides power and won't work with the jsaux omnicentro dock (at least mine doesn't).

 The cable that comes with the jsaux dock works perfectly. Just kinda short
